Quest for the Lost Powers[]

Henry resided on Sally-Bob's farm, where he served as a plow animal, helping to till the soil when a plow was hitched to him. When Cole joined the farm some time after the Final prophecy of Quanish the Elder, the yak took an immediate liking to the young man but hardly showed it, giving him immense trouble in particular when being asked to work the fields.

One day, Cole's father, Lou arrived at the farm to visit his son. When Lou inquired about as to his son's whereabouts, Cole was busy trying to coax Henry into plowing the fields, with little success. Later that night, Henry stood outside the barn that Cole and his father slept in and began imitating the sounds of a rooster, waking up the pair. When Lou answered the door, Henry greeted him with a slobbery lick across the face. Cole noted that Henry only ever imitated a rooster either when it was morning, or to warn about an impending attack by Sally-Bob's greedy neighbor, Takanagi. And since it was still the middle of the night, many hours away from sunrise, that could only mean the latter.

The next evening, Henry participated in defending his home, at least, in his own way. When Takanagi started up his modified and heavily armored harvester, the normally stubborn yak rushed on ahead of Cole and Sally-Bob's farmers, planting himself directly in the harvester's way. Fortunately, although Takanagi was greedy, he was not a hardened and ruthless criminal; rather than running over Henry with his harvester, Takanagi stopped completely, unsure of how he could get past the large animal. Fearing for Henry's safety though, Lou stepped in and began an impromptu performance in front of Takanagi, believing that he could stall long enough for Henry to escape. Although this worked for a brief moment, Takanagi became upset by the constant distractions nearly causing him to forget his reasons for coming to the farm, and he immediately moved his war-harvester to go around Henry.

Some time later, after Cole successfully repealed Takanagi's attempted takeover, Henry stood at the entrance to Sally-Bob's farm as he hoped to say goodbye to Cole and Lou, albeit while trying his best to look like he didn't care that they were leaving. Cole noted the yak's behavior and laughed, patting him on the back while expressing his goodbyes. Henry then turned to Lou, indicating he wanted to say goodbye to him as well. When Lou approached him, Henry gave the older man another slobbery lick on the face before lumbering out of the way in satisfaction.
