The Skeleton Army are an army of skeletal soldiers that were led by Garmadon.

The LEGO Ninjago Movie (flashback)[]
The Skeleton Army were led by Garmadon in an effort to conquer Ninjago. During an attack on one particular village, they came into conflict with Lady Iron Dragon who decimated enough of their forces that it caught the attention of their leader. Having fallen in love with the beautiful and powerful warrior, Garmadon would abandon his skeleton army to be with her.

- It is likely that Garmadon leading the Skeleton Army is a reference to how he led the Skulkin during the pilot episodes.
