During a MergeQuake, Kai and Lloyd encountered several of these creatures emerging from the fissure in space and time. As they worked to close the MergeQuake, they spotted another winged monkey eating, and throwing up, stones. The two then used these vomit covered stones to construct a wall to protect civilians from being sucked into the MergeQuake. Once the fissure was sealed, Kai went off to round up the remaining winged monkeys.

- It is possible that they may originate from the Land of Monsters, as many other monstrous creatures that are released from MergeQuakes originate from there.
