YinYang Dragons are a rare type of dragon. Depending on how they are is raised, they will turn into either a Light Dragon or a Shadow Dragon upon reaching maturity.

Clouse was trying to capture Bandit, a young YinYang Dragon, and turn him into a fearsome Shadow Dragon. He succeeded but Kai and Nya foiled his plans by helping Bandit to turn into a Light Dragon.
