2509 Earth Dragon Defense is a Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu - pilot episodes set that was released on August 5, 2011. It includes Rocky, Cole DX, Wyplash, the Scythe of Quakes, a Silver Sword, one Scythe Blade, and the Dagger of the Dragon's Breath.

I enjoyed designing the earth dragon, and keeping him true to his element as a non-flying dragon. Even if in the series he grows wings in the meantime heh[2]

- The set claims that the green frills around the Earth Dragon's neck are its wings, despite its design in the show containing wings separate from the frill.
- The Dagger of the Dragon's Breath is not listed among the weapons in the set description. It may have been interpreted as a torch instead of a dagger.
