The Lava Spike is a silver, scythe-like weapon with a long, straight blade and an orange lava gem on its head that Kai uses. It is described as a Fire-based weapon that inflicts painful burning sensations on anyone it cuts—worse yet, the wounds heal extremely slowly. A special potion made from rare Ninjago plant extracts is the only known remedy to the damage inflicted by the Lava Spike.
