Overview
Special Edition Card (2012) is a card that was released in 2012. Distributions of the card were limited to specific regions of the world, with Fangpyre Leap being distributed in Asia; Venomari Acid being distributed in Eastern Europe; and Hypnobrai Rattle being distributed in Western Europe.
Distributions mostly took the form of participation or winner prizes in activities at participating sites across the world, though in some markets, these packs were given out as gifts with purchase.
In Japan, for example, packs containing either Fangpyre Leap or Hypnobrai Rattle, was given out as a participation award for elementary school children and younger who participated in a Ninjago Spinners match at Seibu Dome on one of seven specific dates, starting from July 25, 2012, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lego in Japan.[1]
