Designer's notes
Designer's notes[]
"Katana v11 is the first model i designed by myself. A transforming attack speedboat! I stared at the bricks for a few days just trying to figure out where to start building a speedboat. I don't remember making one even as a kid. In the end it turned out nice if i say so myself!"[2]
Trivia
Trivia[]
- Luke Cunningham is exclusive to this set.
- Kai's Resistance minifigure is exclusive to this set, because the one released in 891842 Kai, which comes in one issue of the Ninjago Magazine, came with the mask without the symbol.
- This is the only Sons of Garmadon set to not include an Oni Mask, the collectible item for the season.
- This is Kai's sixth vehicle. His first is his Blade Cycle, the second being the Fire Mech, his third being the Kai Fighter, the fourth being the X-1 Ninja Charger, and his fifth being his other bike.
- This set is only seen in the episode "Dread on Arrival."
- The set depicts this vehicle as a speedboat, however, the vehicle in the series is a submarine.
- In the set animation, Kai's armor is gold rather than gun metal gray.
