Jet fighters[1] were small surveillance jets created by Borg Industries to protect the citizens of New Ninjago City from threats.

History

The Surge[]

After being gifted the Techno Blades by Cyrus Borg, The Overlord began to corrupt the various technologies in New Ninjago City, including the jet fighters, in an effort to repossess the Techno Blades. One jet fighter would be hacked by Kai with his Techno Blade, transforming it into the Kai Fighter. As he flew across the skies above New Ninjago City, Kai would be confronted by a squadron of three other jet fighters, which began to deploy their missiles against him.

Jet fighters are equipped with heat seeking missiles and targeting systems. Much like the other security vehicles developed by Borg Industries, they seem capable of operating independently without a human pilot.
