- The title of the song is slightly inconsistent, as it is called "We Are Ninjas" on the album cover and both "We Are Ninja" and "We Are Ninja!" on The Fold's official YouTube channel.
- The title of the song is not spoken in the song as one single phrase, but "ninja" does come after "who we are" in the chorus. If this is not counted as the same thing as the title, "We Are Ninja" is one of the two Ninjago songs in which the title is not featured in the song itself, the other being "Rise of the Vermillion".
