Maybe I'm Departed[]

Serving as a theme for the special, and the only original leitmotif written for it, "Maybe I'm Departed" is played using flutes and vocals. It gives a solemn and commemorative feeling, which represents how the ninja are remembering their ancestors. Most of the piece is original, save for a statement of the Ninjago theme towards the end. It plays twice during the TV special; first when the ninja spread out to commemorate their ancestors, and again during the credits.

A modified version of the track was later used in the March of the Oni finale "Endings" after the ninja defeat the Oni, and it is also used in the credits of the movie version of the season.
