The Maze of the Sphinx (flashback)[]
While traversing through the maze within the Pyramid of the Sphinx, Shezada, Wu, and Garmadon made their way to the obstacle she dubbed the "pokey passage." Shezada had traversed through the challenge previously and instructed the brothers to follow her lead, though she intentionally withheld the fact that the spears shot from the walls were also laced with a particularly deadly poison.
After the group cleared the passage, Shezada noticed that Wu had been grazed on the neck by one of the spears, prompting her to reveal the danger Wu had been exposed to, mentioning the fate of a previous traveler whom she met previously that was not as fortunate passing through the pokey passage.
