How to use

How to use[]

A Trap card may be played at the end of one's turn (just before discarding a card from one's hand and drawing a new one). The Trap card must be placed face down on a free field in the arena. Every Trap card has an effect which becomes valid directly after either player places a Character card on top of the field containing the Trap card. The Trap card's effect is only valid for that one turn (unless otherwise specified). Along with every other card from the LEGO Ninjago Trading Card Game, Trap cards must follow the Golden Rule: whenever a card's text directly contradicts the game rules, the card takes precedence. After its effect is carried out, it is placed on its owner's discard pile. While a Trap card is in the arena, it must not be revealed until either player places a Character card in its field.

Trivia
