Killow and Resistance Jay are both exclusive to this set.
- The Samurai X minifigure was exclusive to this set before 70651 Throne Room Showdown was released.
With his sole appearance in this set, Killow is one of Ninjago's rarest minifigures, and can be bought on sites like Bricklink for around $50 (the original price of this set) and up. In comparison, another big figure, Dogshank, can be purchased for only around $5 and up. This significantly exceeds the prices of other rare minifigures, such as Samukai.
This is the second Ninjago set to feature a big figure, Killow. The first was Dogshank, who appeared in 70604 Tiger Widow Island.
The Mech's left arm has a hand in the show.
This is the second set to feature the new Samurai X, the first being 70625 Samurai VXL. The samurai's suit is redesigned in this set, now sporting a white faceplate instead of a gold one, and golden shoulder armor instead of black armor.
Due to Killow's size, his rollerskates are two standard skateboards.
