2254 Mountain Shrine is a Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu - pilot episodes set that was released on August 5, 2011. It includes Kai DX, his spinner, a training dummy, a Dark Chained Whip, a Double-Bladed Scythe, two Daggers of the Dragon's Breath, the Mountain Shrine, the Sword of Fire, a Character card, and four Battle cards.

I wanted to give the shrine a more classic, almost castle feel, while keeping the play features for the spinner.[2]

- Card 3 - Kai DX is exclusive to this set.
- The box art incorrectly displays Card 1 - Kai instead of Card 3 - Kai DX.
- In 2011, this was the cheapest way to get the Sword of Fire.
- The Kai DX spinner is not exclusive to this set, as it also appears in 2518 Nuckal's ATV.
- The Mountain Shrine doesn't appear in the show.
