The Temple of Fragile Foundations was the childhood home of Garmadon and Wu. The Secret Ninja Force traveled there using a helicopter they had built.

After breaking away from the Fired Generals, Garmadon and the Secret Ninja Force reached the cliffs overlooking the Temple of Fragile Foundations, the resting place of the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon. As they climbed the worn steps, Jay muttered that this had just become his new least-favorite place. Garmadon agreed, almost too casually, adding that he knew the area well. The Ninja shot him confused looks, and Garmadon brushed the dust off the entrance mat, revealing the name "The Garmadons." He admitted this was actually his childhood home, explaining that the foundations were so unstable he eventually moved into his volcano lair just to feel safe.

Inside, the dim and gloomy interior made Jay immediately reach for the light switch. The group gathered around a wall lined with old family portraits. Garmadon wasn't eager to reminisce and tried to hurry everyone deeper into the temple to find the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon. But Lloyd stopped him, pointing at a portrait where Garmadon fought alongside Lady Iron Dragon. Garmadon confirmed she was the woman in the picture, and then revealed, to everyone's shock, that she was also Koko, Lloyd's mother. He stared at the painting and began recounting how he met her during the Battle of Nine Armies.

When the story ended, the ninja announced they'd found the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon tucked inside a bedroom. They presented a golden chest to Garmadon, watching closely as he lifted it only to reveal nothing but a pile of random junk. Jay immediately declared it the "Ultimate Ultimate Disappointment," but Lloyd was the first to recognize that each item symbolized the core element used by the ninja. Realizing its importance, they packed everything back into the chest and prepared to leave.

As they headed out, Garmadon told Lloyd that after everything they'd been through, he wanted his son to stand with him as father and General #1. Lloyd, horrified, tried to talk him down, but Garmadon wouldn't budge. After a brief struggle, he fled the temple with the chest, taking off in their helicopter and worsening the temple's instability as he went.

Now trapped inside the collapsing structure, the ninja panicked until Lloyd reminded them they didn't need the physical pieces to use their elemental abilities, the power was already within them. Focusing, they unlocked their elements once more and escaped the falling temple just in time.
