The zigzag hammer[1] is a hammer created by Cole from parts of an old crane infused with Dark Matter.

The Clean-up![]
During the battle with a Leviathan, the ninja realized that the creature is strangled by chains of an old crane infused with Dark Matter. Cole came up with an idea to create a sledgehammer and destroy the chains, and did exactly that.
After the Leviathan was freed, the hammer remained with Cole and was secured in the Earth Ninja's private pantry.[1]

- This is chronogically the first Cole's hammer, being used by him before The LEGO Ninjago Movie and Season 8.
