Master of the Mountain

The following is a list of all the themes and soundtracks first introduced in the thirteenth season of Ninjago.

Skull Sorcerer's theme

Skull Sorcerer's theme[]

The Skull Sorcerer's theme is introduced in "Into the Dark." It is played with deep tones and strings and has sinister vibe to it. The theme sounds like a more a violent and vicious version of the Shintaro theme. It is often reprised in the presence of the Skull Sorcerer and the credits and is exemplified by the tracks "The Skull Sorcerer", "Escape From The Mines", "The Story Cave", "Grief-Bringer", and "The Upply Strike Back!".

Vania's theme

Vania's theme[]

Vania's theme can be most clearly heard for the first time in "Princess Vania," and is scattered throughout "Mysteries of Shintaro." It is sometimes accompanied by whimsical vocals, and has a more inquisitive nature. Certain elements can remind a listener of those present in Princess Harumi's theme when she was first seen; however, this theme never becomes nearly as sinister as the season progresses, instead gaining some components of Lilly's and the Upply's themes, including their brass instruments.

Geckles' and Munce's theme

Geckles' and Munce's theme[]

Lilly's theme

Lilly's theme[]

Brief glimpses of this theme can be heard in "Escape from the Mines," but Lilly's full theme cannot be heard until "The Story Cave." The piece simulates climbing and rising above, and is present in many scenes where Cole is learning new abilities that his mother possessed as he and the Lowly rise from Rock-Bottom, most notably "Tapping Into the Mountain." This theme is usually sounded by horns and string instruments.

Upply's theme

Upply's theme[]

This theme is first presented in "The Mines," and is often reprised in the main Shintaro theme. In fact, the majority of the tracks with the Shintaro theme are either accompanied by this theme or the Skull Sorcerer's theme. This theme can be heard clearly in "The Tale of Korgran" and "The Upply."
