The School of Skulkin[]

With Cole, Jay and Zane already on board, Wu needed one more brave ninja to join the team and help protect the four Golden Weapons. The master was going to the village of Ignacia when he saw a head of the Skulkin flying out of the cave. Suspecting that this is up to no good, he decides to check this cave.

Here, he sees a group of skeletons who were training to become part of Samukai's skeleton army. To prevent this, Wu introduces himself to the skeletons as someone who will teach them a lesson. After having a verbal alteration with some of the warriors about who of them will teach whom a lesson, Wu easily defeats them and the other soldiers. Wu tells to one of the skeletons to think about his next move, if he doesn't want for a lesson to be repeated.

Later on, Samukai, Kruncha and Nuckal check the cave and find out that all their warriors are defeated. To Samukai's displeasure, his henchmen start arguing about who of them checked the cave last.

At the end, Wu returns to his path to Ignacia. When the master is close to the Four Weapons Blacksmith, he takes out a picture of Kai and Nya, and has a monologue about how one journey ends, and another, far greater one, begins.

Trivia[]

• While most of the comic is happening before Pilot episodes, it is unknown if Samukai's visit of the cave happened before or after Nya's capture.
• The iconic recreation of the shot of Wu looking onward to the Four Weapons Blacksmith is slightly inaccurate, as Wu was originally wearing his original outfit instead of his black kimono.
• The comic implies that there is at least one more Skulkin with unusual head besides the Skulkin generals.
