The bone collectors are Skulkin living in the Foggy desert.

At some point, a Skulkin tribe moved to the Foggy desert and built a village. However, because of the gas vapors, on which the village was built, they were driven insane and decided to collect bones to build a giant mech to rule the desert.

Sand and Bones![]

When Zane, Cole, Jiro and Bonzle made a stop in the Foggy desert on their way to Mysterium, they were found by a group of skulkin, who were collecting bones for their big plan.

When Cole woke up, he found out that their group is transported by a Skeleton Truck, and Bonzle had no idea who the skulkin surrounding them were. After they reached the skulkin village, Zane found out that the village was built above a gas deposite, and the vapors were driving the skulkin insane.

Meanwhile, the skulkin said that they need the heroes' bones to build their Skeleton Mech to rule the desert. To this, Zane says that he has no bones, and the collectors released him. However, Zane needed it just to activate Cole's Earth Mech, and with it, Cole destroyed the Skeleton Mech and the cliff where the village was standing, thus eliminating the effects of the toxic gas. With their sanity restored, the skulkin said that they have no interest in the heroes' bones and asked them to leave the village, which the heroes gladly did.
