Cows were a farming field when Kai narrates a flashback of what Ninjago looked like before the Serpentine emerged.

When the ninja were attacked by yaks, Cole mistakenly referred to them as cows, and was corrected by Lloyd.

Peak-a-Boo[]

In the Wailing Alps, Jay spotted a Walloper and mistakenly identified it as a goat to Kai. Jay's argument was based on the presence of horns, but Kai corrected him by stating that giraffes also have horns. Jay was skeptical about Kai's claim about the Walloper being a yak and proposed that it might be a cow instead. Momentarily, Jay and the rest of the ninja discovered tracks, leading Jay to believe that they were from a cow.
