What a surprise![]

Spitta and Lizaru lie in wait in the tall grass, hoping to ambush the ninja. As Kai and Cole pass by, the Serpentine attack them. However, the attack is unsuccessful: the heroes successfully dodge Venomari's poison and then attack. Jay appears in the sky with a pair of makeshift wings, and Lizaru seizes the opportunity to knock Cole down, taking the Scythe of Quakes from him. Cole rolls and retrieves the scythe just as one of the Serpentine accidentally slams it into the ground, causing an earthquake. Kai uses Spinjitzu and scares him away from the battlefield. Cole delivers a message to the Serpentine General, and Spitta flees, repeating it to himself. However, he tells Acidicus that the Serpentine have not seen any ninja.

Farm of Fear[]

Kai, Jay, and Zane arrive at a farming settlement in search of a group of Venomari. They encounter several farmers in a field who say they were expecting the ninja. Sam, Jin, and two other farmers then begin leading the heroes toward a barn, poking them with pitchforks. The team quickly realizes that the villagers have been poisoned by Venomari venom and view the heroes as escaped animals. As the ninja begin to consider how to distract the farmers and escape the pig pen, snakes suddenly emerge from the mud.

The ninja attempt to defeat the enemies with ice, while one of the farmers recovers and runs for backup. Zane suggests the Serpentine surrender while they still have a chance, but they laugh and climb out of the ice, soon joined by another group. The heroes then decide to use Spinjitzu to repel the poison from the enemies surrounding them. Affected by their own venom, the Venomari begin to behave like animals: some moo, grunt, and bleat, while others peck the ground and gallop. Grateful for saving the village, the villagers invite the ninja to dinner, after which the team returns to camp.
