Upon encountering Scar, Cole and Wu, disguised as Dragon Hunters, are questioned about their identities. Cole tells him he is "Rocky Dangerbuff" and Wu is "Dangerbuff Jr." Scar then states that "Dangerbuff" is a clan among the Dragon Hunters. As Cole often uses the name "Dangerbuff" as an alias, he is quite shocked someone is actually named "Dangerbuff." When Scar goes to get Stalwart Dangerbuff, Cole and Wu flee, and Scar laughs, saying "Classic Dangerbuff."

When Cole and Wu are building, Daddy No Legs asks them what they are doing. After that, he asks if they were from the Dangerbuff clan, and they say yes. This prompts Daddy No Legs to say that he would not hunt with them, as no Dangerbuff would be able to shoot a hole in the ground.
