The Grimkeepers are nightmare creatures. They ensnare dreamers and trap them within their stomachs, which is actually a cage for their captives.

Ninjago - Dream Team[]

Multiple Grimkeepers attacked the Farmers' village where Jan and his friends were located. They fought back against the Ninja when the group came to defend the kids, but lost several of their number in the conflict. During the battle, one fought against Nya and her Samurai X Mech in a contest of strength, while another briefly captured Kai and Jan before time was reversed thanks to Zoey. After Jan and Max were captured by the Night Hunter, one Grimkeeper captured the last dreamer and retreated alongside its peers. This Grimkeeper, along with the few remaining ones, would be defeated however by the combined force of the Ninja and the Dream Chasers.
