I Just Had the Most Peculiar Dream[]

Zane dreamt of being onboard a flying bus that was being swarmed with Grimspawn and was pursued by the Nightmare King riding atop the Dark Pegasus.

Ninjago - Dream Team[]

After Jan and his friends fell asleep watching a Ninjago marathon, they entered Jan's dream where they were relentlessly pursued by nightmare creatures. In response to this threat, Jan the self proclaimed Emperor of Ninjago, summoned the ninja to protect him and his friends. Heeding the call, the ninja fought back against the Grimspawn and the Grimkeepers, and thanks to the assistance of Zoey, began to turn the tide. At this point, the nightmare creatures were reinforced by Grimwolves and Night Terrors, prompting Zoey to call the Dream Chasers in as backup. To make matters worse, the Night Hunter arrived shortly thereafter aboard the Nightmare Galleon.

The Night Hunter and his minions managed to capture Jan and Max, reeling them onboard where they learned about the ninja and their Elemental Powers. Believing that the ninja's powers could well serve the Nightmare King, the Night Hunter sought to capture them as well. Unfortunately, the combined might of the ninja and the Dream Chasers proved to be overwhelming, with both groups succeeding in decimating the nightmare creatures' forces on the ground. In the end, the arrival of Master Wu in Destiny's Bounty spelled the end for the nightmare creatures, who were ultimately defeated and driven off beyond the horizon.
