The security guards are guards in the Explorer's Club.

The security guards entered one of the rooms after Lloyd, Nya, and Zane attempted to sneak in. The guards chase down the ninja, but they manage to escape by entering different rooms and locking the doors.

- Their appearance is reminiscent of classic English security guards.
- They use the hat of the Imperial Soldier Minifigure from LEGO's Pirates line.
- One of the guards has the same hairpiece as Krux and the Emperor of Ninjago but in black, originally used on the Twelfth Doctor from Doctor Who.
- Interestingly, in "Riddle of the Sphinx" the guards did not come to defend the club, as Kalmaar's burglary was much more dangerous and destructive than the ninja's burglary.
