Trivia[]

• The jet's wings can switch in between a closed design and an open design with gold blades.
  • This play feature is achieved by using a sliding component on the back of the jet which slides against wing plates. This causes the wings that were previously secured in place with clip pieces to open slightly, where a user can use their hand to open them the rest of the way.
• A mini version of the jet was used for the Lego Dimensions set, 71215 Jay Fun Pack.
• This set bears resemblance to 9443 Rattlecopter, as they are both air vehicles around the same size, and both used in Rise of the Snakes.
• This set has been remade in Ninjago: Legacy's 70668 Jay's Storm Fighter.
• Despite the Jay minifigure not including shoulder pads, the minifigure with shoulder pads does fit in the jet.
