- According to Tommy Andreasen, the Ninjago Museum of History's version of the painting is actually concept art of the Constrictai.[1]
- The name of the painting is a reference to a poem called "The Charge of the Light Brigade" written by Alfred, Lord Tennyson in 1854, which depicted a charge by British light cavalry against the Russians during the Battle of Balaclava in the Crimean War.
