Grimspawn are nightmare creatures. They are characterized by their humanoid and short, stout appearance. They frequently serve the Nightmare King and the Night Hunter and do their bidding. They originate from the Dream World.

I Just Had the Most Peculiar Dream[]

Grimspawn were seen on the exterior of the spacebus as well as swarming around it.

Ninjago - Dream Team[]

A horde of Grimspawn participated in an attack on the Farmers' village as they swarmed around Jan and his friends. When the Ninja arrived to save the children, they fought against the Grimspawn but were startled by the creatures disintegrating upon being struck. In the ensuing battle, one Grimspawn managed to corrupt Nya's Samurai X Mech, rendering it in-operational. They, alongside their allies, however were forced to retreat when the Dream Chasers intervened and began assisting the ninja in thinning the horde of Grimspawn. When both teams joined forces in pursuit of the Night Hunter, they continued to fight back against and destroy the hordes of Grimspawn.
