The Temple of Fortitude is a temple located in City Square. Constructed during the Stone Wars by the Overlord, it was used as a stronghold for the Stone Army against the First Spinjitzu Master during the war. It has a shield that can block Golden Power.
History

Ancient times[]
The Overlord hid in the Temple of Fortitude to protect himself and avoid being defeated by the First Spinjitzu Master.[1]
The Titanium Ninja[]
When the ninja returned from space, Cyrus Borg told them about the Temple of Fortitude, explaining that it contained a weapon to defeat the Golden Master. The ninja fought their way to the temple, and Garmadon activates the shield, which stopped the Nindroids for a bit. Then, Borg gives them their ultimate weapon—a pill. The ninja are confused that a pill could be a weapon. Borg then explains that it is a diet pill gone wrong and has the power to shrink anyone. The ninja also get armor for their quest. The temple's force field is starting to break, because of the Nindroids' lasers. But Nya quickly blows them up with a vehicle from Cryptor.
The Invitation[]
Kai, Jay, and Cole were near the Temple when they visited Zane's titanium statue.
The Greatest Fear of All[]
Kai flew past the temple atop his elemental dragon as he pursued one of the noodle trucks suspected of carrying the transformed Anacondrai Cultists.
Operation Heavy Metal[]
The Buffmillion was close to the Temple of Fortitude as it entered City Square.
Lost in Time[]
The Temple of Fortitude is briefly seen when Kai and Nya alter the past while fighting Krux and Acronix, as their battle caused Ninjago to revert to an older appearance. Interestingly, the temple fades away after Kai and Nya alter the past and Ninjago returns to its modern state—implying that the temple was torn down at some point after Season 3.

- The Temple of Fortitude seems to act as the dark counterpart of the Temple of Light. Like the Temple of Light, both temples acted as places of refuge for their respective owners and were placed on their opposite halves of Ninjago.
- The temple is called the "Ninjago Temple" in its set description.
