Danger! is the 31st issue of the Ninjago Magazine. It includes 891731 Zane and Fusion Kai appears on the cover. It was released on November 22, 2017 in Germany.

With Kai and Nya having disappeared into the Temporal vortex after the Time Twins, the remaining Ninja, Cyrus Borg, and the new Samurai X are left behind in the Vermillion Swamps where the siblings' father, Ray, is rapidly aging. As they await the return of their allies, Lloyd urges his friends to seek shelter, with Maya proposing that they make their way to the Dragon's Forge,
As the group make their way to the forge, they are ambushed by a squadron of Vermillion, much to their surprise, as they had believed all of the snakes had traveled back in time with the Iron Doom. The ninja then hid Ray and Cyrus Borg safely behind some nearby trees before engaging the Vermillion Warriors in battle, quickly routing and smashing them into their component snakes. While Jay was eager to celebrate their victory, Cole pointed out that the other Vermillion eggs in the swamp were starting to hatch and soon they would be overwhelmed by their enemies!
As yet another squadron of Vermillion Warriors formed in front of the heroes, they were once more left without a choice other than to fight back. After a few moments of fighting, Lloyd called upon his allies to find a way to stop the current warriors from reforming and to find a way to stop the eggs from hatching, lest they be trapped in an endless battle. As the ninja discuss their next course of action, they fail to notice Ninjago City changing in the distance; the Time Twins have altered the past!
After some moments of deliberation, the ninja decide to have Jay use his power of Lightning to fry the currently disassembled Vermillion Warriors as well as their eggs. Although Jay protests that the previous battles have exhausted him to the point his powers were no longer as effective, Cole puts together a lightning rod to amplify Jay's powers. Surprisingly, this plan worked out quite well and the scattered snakes are driven away as Jay shocks the scattered pieces of armor and eggs.
With the battle won, Lloyd urges his allies to make their way to the Dragon's Forge, where they will await Kai and Nya's return. In response, Jay muttered aloud, "If they return, you mean," drawing a glare from Lloyd who responded back that the Ninja of Lightning was not helping. With a nervous chuckle, Jay corrected his earlier statement to "When they return."

- The comic takes place during "Lost in Time"
- The comic shows that while Kai and Nya were in the Time Vortex, Maya got her power of Water back and used it against the Vermillion. Presumably, this is not how it should work, as Season 11 revealed that there could be two elemental masters of the same element thanks to Time travel,[1] which means that when Nya went to the Time Vortex, she shouldn't have lost her power to her mother.
- Not having the full context (Maya using water only when Nya was in the Time Vortex), Tommy Andreasen has stated that this comic is not canon while answering a fan's question if this comic means that Ray and Maya can still use their Elemental Powers.[2]
- The comic shows that some of the Vermillion eggs didn't hatch before the Iron Doom vent into the Time Vortex, so the last remains of the Vermillion were defeated by Jay's Lightning in this comic.
- Cole mentions the events of issue 23 while suggesting Jay to use a lightning rod to battle the Vermillion more effectively.
- Blunck's character model is used for an orange vermillion on page seven of the comic, though this cannot be Blunck as he had traveled back in time with the Time Twins.
