- This is the first Weekend Whip remix to not have the word "Weekend" in the name.
- The Fold was not involved in creating this remix.[1]
- The Ghost Whip is a "true remix" as opposed to other remixes, as the original vocals were placed over a new track, which is why Dan Castady is not able to perform The Ghost Whip as he can other songs.[2]
- This is the only version of The Weekend Whip so far to have its intro appearance include lyrics besides the chorus, that being the "They say go slow" section before the chorus.
- This song is played instrumentally in the two technology montages in the Decoded episode, "The Digiverse and Beyond."
- There is a Japanese version of the song, though the details surrounding it are unknown.[3]
- Unlike the Michael AM 2014 Remix, The Anacondrai Remix, and "The Pirate Whip," this remix was not featured in any capacity in the product animations for its season's sets.
