- This is the second Weekend Whip remix to have additional lyrics, first being The Pirate Whip.
- The title "The Wicked Whip" was not based on the season itself, rather, it was a title idea the band had already had, and the cover artwork with the ninja in their Forbidden Spinjitzu forms, along with the remix having some elements of the metal genre, convinced Dan Castady to use it for this version of the song.[1]
