Overview
Chen's Chair (also known as the Smart Throne 3000) is a mobile throne with many tools and gadgets built into it.
History
History[]
Prior to Tournament of Elements[]
At some point in time following Chen's exile to his island and before the Tournament of Elements, he acquired a Smart Throne 3000.
Tournament of Elements[]
Outfitted with all manner of gadgets and trickery, the chair served as Chen's literal seat of power for the duration of the Tournament of Elements. Chen would have his chair moved to every event's arena so that he may spectate each match from the comforts of his throne, subsequently using its buttons to activate trapdoors and any other necessary arena functions to affect the match or eliminate losing competitors.
The chair would be abandoned however after the completion of the transformation spell in favor of escaping from the island to conquer Ninjago.
At some point after Chen's defeat in the Second Serpentine War, the chair would be acquired by the Ninjago Museum of History, being featured in their Hall of Villainy exhibit alongside a plastic statute of the despot who formerly occupied it.
Day of the Departed[]
On the Day of the Departed, Chen's spirit was briefly resurrected from the Departed Realm thanks to Cole's meddling. Restored to life by occupying his statute, Chen was overjoyed to be reunited with his chair, immediately activating various functions until one activated his chair's mech, which would then roam about the museum uncontrollably for some time. Riding atop the chenosaurus, Chen sought out his revenge against Kai and Nya but would ultimately be defeated after the water ninja deflected one of the chenosaurus' missiles back at him, destroying Chen's anchor to the mortal world and leaving the chair abandoned once more.
The next day, the chair would be returned to the Museum of History alongside any remains of Chen's statute.
Bad Chair Day (non-canon)[]
Chen got his chair and refused to read the instructions, so they end up in the jungle, and Chen tells Clouse to carry him home.
Abilities

Trivia
Trivia[]
- In the shorts "Chair Up Chen," "Chairful What You Wish For," and "Chen's New Chair," the throne was shown being able to move on its own, eject a mobile, dispense bubbles, spin at high speeds, heat up its seat to extreme temperatures, fly (quite unsteadily) by unfolding large bat wings, eject a mechanical arm with a boxing glove on it, suspend a carrot from the ceiling on a string, slam into the floor repeatedly, and dispense a large amount of fire from the floor. It is unknown if the chair can do these things in canon.
- The throne is currently on display as part of the Ninja exhibit at the Ninjago Museum of History.
