- This song contains references to the events in the special, mainly focusing on Cole:
- Cole fading away in his ghost state, fearing he was departing and being forgotten by his friends
- Yang telling Cole to "close the circle" at the museum
- Cole nearly losing hope when he was becoming less visible
- Cole's fight with Yang
- The Rift of return closing and Cole having to hurry in order to pass through or he'll end up departed
- This is the only Day of the Departed song not to be featured in the special, though it is listed in the credits.
- This is the first song to use a lyric from "The Weekend Whip," the lyric being, "Jump up, kick back, whip around and..."
