The ninjas' beloved Master Wu is back to his (literally) old self and is training the ninja again as the Monastery of Spinjitzu is being rebuilt. But when one of the workers accidentally activates an ancient and dangerous artifact, the ninja will have to spring into action to save the day! An awesome, original story that comes with one sheet of stickers!

Plot[]

While workers are restoring the monastery, Wu leads the ninja in a blindfolded training session. They accidentally bump into each other, then the construction workers. One of them spills paint on the floor, causing Zane to slip and knock another worker over. The worker nearly drops a vase, but Nya manages to grab the artifact.

When the sensei begins scolding his students, they remind him that not long ago he himself was a child and they had to teach a young master. Suddenly, Dareth enters the monastery. The brown ninja decides to join the training, puts on a blindfold, and spins around, hitting a glass box. Wu, horrified, reveals that dangerous invisible squirrel ninjas were inside.

The ninja immediately rush to catch the squirrels, following small explosions that reveal the location of the exotic creatures. The heroes recall Wu's lessons, and each manages to find and capture one of the squirrels using their abilities. Meanwhile, the sensei returns to his students with a new glass box.

Errors[]

• The book states that Garmadon destroyed the Monastery, which is false.
• Kai uses a Smoke blast, even though smoke is an entirely separate element.
  • This is similar to how Jay used Wind in "The Green Ninja," though in that case, Wind was not yet an element in the TV series.
