Bizarro Zane^[1] was one of the four evil ninja and an evil doppelgänger of Zane. He was created by Lord Garmadon to destroy the ninja.

Double Trouble[]

After growing frustrated with every failed attempt to defeat the ninja, Garmadon realized that the best way to overcome them was to create opponents who were their exact equals. Using the ninja's uniforms, he created the evil ninja, tasked to hunt down and destroy the real ninja. Bizarro Zane accompanied the other evil ninja into Ninjago City, where they caused chaos while searching for their targets. During the destruction, Bizarro Zane smashed an automated teller machine, scattering money everywhere as the group terrorized the citizens.

The evil ninja next traveled to Grand Sensei Dareth's Mojo Dojo in hopes of tricking Master Wu into revealing the ninja's whereabouts. However, Wu quickly realized something was wrong when he saw the evil ninja. A battle immediately followed. During the fight, Bizarro Zane pinned Master Wu to the wall with a volley of shurikens. Despite their efforts, Wu refused to reveal anything, forcing the evil ninja to leave after learning that Nya expected to meet Jay at the autobody shop.

Learning that the real ninja were at Darkley's, the four duplicates headed to the school, overpowering Brad Tudabone and the other students while continuing their search. Eventually, they confronted the real ninja. When Bizarro Zane encountered the original Zane, he coldly declared that his early assessment told him the real Zane would be destroyed, mocking Zane's familiar expression when he realized that Garmadon was involved. The two ninja groups fight. Because the evil ninja had been created as perfect opposites, every move made by one was perfectly countered by the other.

Disguised in ninja uniforms, Lloyd and the students rushed into the battle, creating confusion among the evil ninja. Taking advantage of the distraction, Zane attacked Bizarro Zane, who was busy fighting the students. Zane unleashed a Spinjitzu attack that overwhelmed his evil counterpart. The collision of opposing energies caused Bizarro Zane to vanish completely.
