Jolly was the Shark Army general #1 until Garmadon "fired" him from his volcano lair. He landed in the canyon where the Fired Generals made up their society. He joined them in exacting revenge on Garmadon and his son.
History
History[]
Once the Shark Army's General #3, Jolly was promoted to the rank of General #1 after his two immediate predecessors were fired during a meeting following the Shark Army's latest defeat to the Secret Ninja Force. Unfortunately, Jolly's tenure as General #1 would not last much longer, as he too was fired after Garmadon was unimpressed with his suggestion of intimidation - specifically by painting angry eyebrows on the faces of every member of the Shark Army.
After being fired, Jolly landed in the Canyon of General Unhappiness where he joined the ranks of the Fired Generals. During the Secret Ninja Force's attack on the Lost City of Generals, Jolly was knocked out and his helmet was taken by Zane.

Trivia[]
- When Garmadon orders for General #3 to knock over a table, Jelly's model is used instead of Jolly's.
- Despite being fired the day prior, Jolly, or at least another general resembling him, appears at the top of Ninjago Tower after Garmadon declares himself victorious. This character is seen again looking down the side of the building after Lloyd leaps off and is later seen as being part of Koko's reintegration program.
- The lookalike theory seems likely, as the second general who reuses Jolly's character model is also present during the meeting scene and is seated in the back whereas Jolly is seated in the front. Similarly, Jolly is gone after being fired while the one in the back still remained.
- His faceprint is the same as that used on Octopus, with the same torso and legs as Omar.
