The LEGO Ninjago Movie[]
When Nya rode her bike through the halls of her highschool, one of the other students she startled was one of the cheerleaders who threw her card collection into the air as she screamed. Amongst those cards was one depicting Laval.
Later, when the Secret Ninja Force showed Lloyd and Garmadon the bedroom where they found the Ultimate Ultimate Weapon, a card featuring Laval is seen on one of the shelves.

- The existence of his card in the Movie implies Legends of Chima is an in-universe franchise, as opposed to a region of the Wyldness. His card being in the Temple of Fragile Foundations suggests the franchise has possibly been around for over 100 years.
- The other cards are Unikitty from The LEGO Movie and Card 25 - Lloyd Garmadon from the Ninjago Spinners Card Game.
