Sally is a singer-songwriter in Ninjago.

History

The Benefit of Grief[]

Sally was driving her father's van to Ninjago City when she came across Zane, Kai, and Dareth. Assuming they were strangers astray in the desert, she lets them in her van. During the trip, she plays one of her songs and tells the Ninja that she plans to go to Ninjago City and become a famous singer.

After, Zane points out a picture she has in her car and she gets upset and let's go of the wheel. After being saved from a car crash by Zane, she later reveals that she actually ran away from home and is scared that her parents may not forgive her if she goes back home.

She reveals to the ninja that she wanted to come to Ninjago City to become a singer but her father forbade it because she was "not old enough" but she decided to come anyway knowing it would hurt his feelings. She began crying calling herself selfish. She also reveals the van she is driving is her father's which she "borrowed without permission" and accidentally dinged the fender.

The police begin to trail behind her and the Ninja and worried that her dad had sent the police on her, she started the van and drove away only to find out that she was tricked and the police were after the ninja in the van. Regardless, she still helps the ninja escape by diving the van into a nearby canyon with a river at the bottom.

After escaping, she was rather excited about the chase, though after her father's van breaks her cheerfulness turns sour quickly and she says she wished she could turn off her emotions so she could do anything with worry. Zane encourages her to go back home to be with her parents. With her new friends, she does and is embraced by her parents who forgive her. Dareth says Sally will take Ninjago by storm when she's older.

Sally and her parents arrive to help the Resistance battle the Crystal army.

Roots[]

Sally cheered when the Crystal King was defeated. A week later, Sally and her parents show up to help the ninja, alongside many of their allies, rebuild the monastery.

Sally has been shown to be a very sensitive and emotional person, changing from happy, sad, scared, and upset on a whim. She is also very passionate about music, wanting to be a famous singer someday to unite the people of Ninjago with her songs.

Singing: Sally has a remarkable talent for singing, thus creating her song.
Driving: Despite being an inexperienced driver and running her father's van over a mailbox by accident, Sally has a surprising ability to drive, as shown in "The Benefit of Grief" when she and the Ninja are trying to outrun Hounddog McBrag and the police.
