Golden Glow[]

Following The Final Battle, Lloyd retrieved the damaged Golden Mech and brought it back to the Monastery of Spinjitzu for repairs. After a little more than a month and two weeks, Lloyd had fully repaired the mech and now spent most of his time polishing it. The Ninja then told Lloyd to bring the mech with him as they were going out to confront the Stone Army, though Lloyd remarked all the dust from battle would make his efforts polishing the mech moot. Upon arriving on the battlefield, all the members of the Stone Army ran away screaming at the sight of the Golden Mech's intense glow. Lloyd remarked that he didn't know why the Stone Warriors were screaming, but something told him polishing the mech was a good thing.

The Golden Star of the Party[]

Wu congratulated the Ninja for protecting Ninjago for the last ten years, suggesting that they hold a party to celebrate. Nya suggested inviting the enemies they had defeated over the years to come as well, noting that the last ten years would have been uneventful if it hadn't been for them. Cole agreed to Nya's proposition but noted that the leaders of their past enemies would not receive invites.

On the day of the party, the Ninja dressed in golden costumes as they waited for the arrival of their guests. As the party began, each Ninja began to entertain their guests with the events they had each planned: for example, Cole sang; Jay performed stand up comedy; and Wu demonstrated a tea ceremony. Suddenly, the party was crashed by a group of cloaked figures, revealing themselves to be none other than Garmadon, Kozu, Pythor, and Samukai, all of whom remarked that they did not receive invitations to the Ninja's party and so have decided to invite themselves! In unison, each of the four villains reached into their cloaks and pulled out... silly, golden costumes?! "We will fight you another time, Ninja," said Garmadon as he and the others got dressed, "We have come here tonight only as LORD OF THE DANCE FLOOR!" he declared. As the villains now began to dance and celebrate, Cole remarked that Garmadon saved the party from Wu's boring tea ceremony demonstration.

Trivia[]

• It comes with a Golden Legacy Lloyd figure, with two golden katana swords.
• The cover depicts Rattla in redesigned Legacy form, but Bansha and Wyplash are in their original forms.
• The wispy design next to the Ninjago logo is a new design, unlike the two designs used on other Ninjago: Legacy products, both of which depict Kai in red or gold.
