Some of the moles living in Primeval's Eye were affected by its source of evil and turned into giant monsters.[1]

While being chased by Crabby, the ninja ran past a giant mole.
Ground-Breaking Evil (non-canon)[]
When the ninja returned to Primeval's Eye to stop Miss Demeanor's Chronosteel mining, they were suddenly attacked by the giant squirrels and then saved by a giant mole. While the mole was fighting with the squirrels, the ninja escaped through the mole hole. Later, Miss Demeanor was grabbed by the mole when she tried to escape from the ninja.

- It is unknown if the giant mole in "Ground-Breaking Evil" is a reference to a giant mole in "Brawl of the Jungle!". It is presumed to be, because both live in Primeval's Eye and the previous issue also featured a reference to one of the older comics.
