On the way to exiling Vex following his defeat, the Ninja encountered a pair of these wolf monsters in the outskirts of the Never-Realm. Kataru surmised that they had once prowled the outskirts of the Never-Realm but had thawed following the end of the Long Winter. The pair of wolves were ultimately defeated by Cole, Nya, and Zane combining their powers to bury the wolves beneath stone and ice.
