The lunar rovers were vehicles used by the ninja and the Nindroids in outer space.

The Void[]
The Nindroids took the lunar rovers from the rocket ship to explore Delta V to find the Golden Weapons, and the ninja followed them in one. After they found the melted Golden Weapons, they hauled it back, only for the ninja to follow. During the chase, some lunar rovers fell off cliffs or were shot. Eventually, the Ninja reach the rocket with the activation key, but discover it has been eaten by the Astro parasites. The Nindroids activated their feet boosters, and the Ninja are left stranded on the planet.
