History

History[]

Wrong Place, Wrong Time[]

Upon realizing that the Mega Weapon had changed the current timeline far too much via Time travel, Zane mentions that it is possible to revert everything by destroying the Mega Weapon, the object that caused it in the first place. The four original Ninja used the four Golden Weapons from the past to destroy the Mega Weapon. As the Golden Weapons used their power to destroy the Mega Weapon, this resulted in both sets of weapons shooting into space and creating a star.[1][2]

The Void[]

The Nindroid Army and the ninja travel through space in order to reach Delta V. After retrieving the Golden Weapons, the Nindroids escaped the comet and left the ninja stranded.

Comet Crisis (non-canon)[]

The Ninja argue over not being able to leave the comet, when they find a shape shifting alien called "The One who is Many". Zane eventually outsmarts the the alien and leaves the comet with the rest of the ninja.

The Titanium Ninja[]

The Nindroids successfully return from their journey. Meanwhile, the ninja would make a makeshift rocket and use it to travel across space before reaching Ninjago City.

Trivia

Trivia[]

  • It's unclear how outer space fits with the concepts of the realms and the Ethereal Divide that were introduced in Possession. According to Tommy Andreasen, outer space is not a realm;[3] the realms are "just places", not planets;[4] and the exact relationship between realms in terms universes or dimensions is "Whatever ensures creative freedom."[5]
    • It is possible that when Andreasen said space is not a realm, he meant it is not a realm separate from Ninjago. In this the case, it could be assumed that the universe itself is the realm most commonly known as "Ninjago" because that is the name of the island on which most of its inhabitants live.
    • When later asked about the relationship between the realms and outer space and whether there are other planets, Andreasen responded, "Idk. Use your own best judgement."[6]
  • The Hageman Brothers almost did a season about aliens after Rebooted, and the Project Arcturus storyline would have set this up.[7]
  • According to Tommy Andreasen, Ninjago is unlikely to visit space in the future.[8][9][10]
    • When asked why he doesn't want Ninjago in space, Andresaen stated that "[t]here is so much to explore without adding space to the mix."[11]
    • When asked if aliens would appear in the series, Andreasen said, "Not on my watch."[12]
    • In 2026, He stated that he prefers Ninjago to be “earthbound".[13]
