The apartment is a remote condo owned by Dareth to use as his secret headquarters just in case he needed to hide something or if the ninja needed to plan something. According to Dareth, the safehouse looks trashed on the inside so that no one would suspect that something might be happening. In actuality, he hasn't cleaned the apartment much. It is located in the Ninjago slums.

When Lord Garmadon was resurrected from the dead in his evil form, Dareth offered his safehouse to Misako in order to hide Toddler Wu from his brother.

Big Trouble, Little Ninjago[]

Despite this, however, Lord Garmadon discovered the trio's location and proceeded to confront them in the hallway of the apartment complex as Misako and Wu were fleeing. Garmadon then attempted to destroy the two with his powers, but Nya and Lloyd arrived. While Lloyd took Wu with him to the rooftops, Nya and Misako fought Garmadon in the hallway. The two were able to escape after Nya blasted Garmadon away with her Water powers.
