The apartment is the home of Sora's family in the City of Imperium.

History

After Sora's decline to work for the Advanced Systems Lab after her discovery of its mistreatment of dragons, her parents punished her by taking away her workbench and tools in her room. Sora decided she had enough with Imperium, and coincidentally, a cataclysmic storm occurred outside her home, giving her an opportunity after the fact to escape and run away from home through the window of her room.
