Overview
- This article is about the Elemental Master. For the dragon labelled the same name by the Advanced Systems Lab, see Zanth. For the Ice Fisher with a similar name, see Sorla.
Sora (born Ana) is the Elemental Master of Technology, an inventor, and one of Lloyd's ninja students.
Born as an Imperian citizen in the dictatorial regime of Empress Beatrix, Sora was one of the smartest inventors of her kingdom. After seeing how it treated dragons and being mistreated by her parents, she left her home after the Merge. She chose her current name and befriended Arin in the Crossroads.
Years later, Sora made a connection to a dragon called Riyu, who helped her discover her Elemental Power. She was trained by Lloyd and eventually unlocked her True Potential.
When the ninja participated in the Tournament of the Sources, Sora began to feel suspicious of Jordana due to her strange behavior, while also developing distrust for Frak. Throughout the tournament matches, Sora advanced to the finals, where she faced Nokt but was ultimately defeated. However, due to the tournament's sabotage, she was declared the winner anyway.

Appearance
Appearance[]
Sora has long pink hair done up in a ponytail with pink eyeshadow and whisker-like markings on both cheeks to mark her status as an Imperian. From "The Merge: Part 1" to "The Shatter Dragon", she wore a navy blue sweatshirt with cat ears on the hood underneath a white racing suit which had navy blue markings. On it were the first two letters of her name in dark blue and the last two in pink, both on the right side. She wore pink belts with golden accents and had a pink cat design on the back of her suit. She wore a dark blue glove on one arm and gold Imperian armor on the other, along with navy blue cat-eared headphones. The armor is speculated to be a prosthetic arm by some fans.
During her time in Imperium as Ana, she had space buns and wore a standard black Imperian children’s uniform.
From "Return to Imperium" to "The Battle of the Second Monastery", Sora donned the disguise of an Imperian citizen under the alias of Sora Surname, with an added marking on both cheeks.
From "Enter the City of Temples" to "Elements of Betrayal", Sora wore her Tournament of Sources suit. It included a white undershirt with three bows, pink accents and pink sash, as well as white pants. Abilities
Abilities[]
- Technology: As an Elemental Master of Technology, Sora can take control of any technological constructs, allowing her to modify their mechanisms or change it into something else, as she was able to morph the SA Mark 01 into a bike.
- Elemental Powers (briefly): With enough skill, Sora was able to use almost every Elemental Power she won during the Tournament of Sources, such as Balance, Heat, Ice, Reflex, Quake, and Smoke, although she had more difficulty with the latter.
- Spinjitzu: Although only momentary and very short lived, Sora did briefly display the ability to generate pink swirling wisps around her body while she was rapidly rotating, which indicated she was in the first stage of Spinjitzu, even before she was able to manifest an actual tornado. During the final half of Season 3, Sora began growing more in tune with using Spinjitzu, to the extent of actually manifesting proto-spinjitzu on more than on occasion and for extended periods of time.
- Skilled combatant: Initially, Sora had struggled through the training course but she became a skilled fighter. Like the rest of the Ninja, she often combined her elemental power with her combat skills. Even powerless, she manage to briefly fight off Chaos-empowered Wolf warriors, but still struggled to defeat them, resorting to using a piece of metal to help knock them back. Later on, she managed to improve her skills and hold her own against Dragonian warriors several times. Later on, with the help of Arin, she was able to hold against Ras, but was unable to defeat him.
- Mechanical skills: Sora is a gifted inventor whose mechanical genius was recognized by Dr. LaRow and the Advanced Systems Lab, even as a child. She pioneered the creation of the indestructible hard light Photacs. Her engineering skills would even receive praise from Nya, a prodigal inventor herself, for being innovative and unique.
- Hacking: Because of her interest in technology since childhood, Sora also became a professional at hacking and splicing, being able to hack through the mainframes of any machinery in seconds and bypass online security.
- Stealth: Being a ninja, Sora is able to sneak into places without being noticed.
Personality
Personality[]
Sora is a kind and caring young girl towards the people she loves, but at the same time she is cynical and has trouble trusting people. This comes from having her childhood idol, Dr. LaRow, betray her and use her invention to hunt down and enslave dragons and later on her own parents turn against her. Due to having been raised in a different realm, Sora never came to know the Ninja or their feats, so she would show some cynicism towards her best friend Arin's admiration towards them. But after Lloyd saved them from the Claws of Imperium and he took them in to teach them how to be a Ninja, she started to develop a great deal of trust towards them. When it comes to trust on people that once were on the opposite side as her, she takes longer to warm up with them, as seen with Frak, who used to be Ras' student.
She often lacks confidence, as she is afraid of letting down the people she cares about, as she used her power and made Arin think that he did Spinjitzu, and even feels insecure about her elemental power and worries she cannot control it. This had led her to feel she didn't have a place on the Ninja, after seen how her power would fail on many occasions and was dependent on Riyu to work. After she managed to free herself from what was holding her back, Sora managed to unlock her full potential, with that increasing her confidence.
Despite her insecurity, Sora is brave, loyal, and willing to do almost anything for the people she cares about, such as the Ninja. She is kind and compassionate towards dragons and her friends, but she can also show it towards strangers. Sora is also skilled, independent and creative, qualities she developed through her passion for technology and having to fend for herself after the Merge. She is always ready to help those she cares about in any way she can.

Etymology
Etymology[]
The name Sora is primarily a gender-neutral name of Japanese origin that means "sky". However, in-universe, her name comes from the ancient Imperium word for orphan. She named herself after Zanth, who was nicknamed Sora at the time.[6] After she cuts her ties with her parents, she fully embraced the Imperium's meaning of the word.
Her birth name, Ana, means "favored grace."
Behind the scenes
Behind the scenes[]
- According to Chris "Doc" Wyatt, the plating on her left arm is just armor and not a prosthetic robot arm.[7]
- Despite this, Play Stories claims that her left arm is a prosthetic.
- Both minifigures of Sora in casual attire use a hair piece of the pigtails she had in her youth.
- In early concept, Sora was originally depicted as a non-human kitsune as a callback to Akita.[8]
- Chris "Doc" Wyatt has stated that Sora has a last name, though it's currently unknown when it will be revealed.[9]
Trivia
Trivia[]
- According to Chris "Doc" Wyatt, Sora feels the power of Technology in her brain.[10]
- In particular designs, Sora's appearance and hair color are based off the character Aelita Schaffer from Code Lyoko and her powers are technology and creation as well.
- In "Return to Imperium," the ID card Sora creates for herself says "Sora Surname" in Ninjargon.
- She appears to be fond of cats, based on her headphones, hood, and the cat symbol on the back of her racing suit. Even her facial markings resemble cat whiskers.
- In "Fallen Wishes", she is shown to love cats and begs Nya to tell Arrakore to wish for kittens.
- It is unknown when or why she got her Imperium face markings, as she is without them when living in the Crossroads with Arin, and had seemingly renounced her Imperian cultural heritage.
- She is the first ninja who was not born in Ninjago, the second being Wyldfyre.
- Before the Tournament of the Sources, she and Wyldfyre were the only ninja who didn't have ninja suits, as her outfit was a racing suit and Wyldfyre's was a normal outfit.
- Sora did not have a ninja suit before the Tournament of Sources because "even though it's been a while since she left Imperium, Sora's still got a thing against wearing what everyone else is wearing."[11]
- However, it is possible that she is starting to slowly warm up the idea of wearing similar outfits to the other Ninja, because starting with "The Hollow Ones" she can be seen wearing a Ghost Hunter suit, matching the other ninja in terms of shoulder armor and mask style but still making the torso unique to her.
- Her minifigure face print has two additional markings on her forehead that are normally obscured by her hair.
- She shares some similarities with her master, Lloyd:
- Both of them were outcasts in their schools, due to not fitting in with the norm (Sora for being too unique and Lloyd for not being bad enough).
- Both were opposed and disowned by at least one of their parents.
- Both had to deal with the dangerous consequences of the choices they made as children (Sora for creating the Photacs and Lloyd for releasing the Serpentine).
- They both doubt themselves at times, like Sora believing she is a "black cloud" in "The Last Djinn" and Lloyd questioning whether or not he will live up to the legacy of his father and uncle as heard in "The Hands of Time".
- Both took over a tower in their home cities and delivered a speech against an emperor/empress (Garmadon and Beatrix respectively).
- Both feel a tremendous guilt when they are unable to help people and are forced to leave them behind.
- She is claustrophobic.[12]
- Based on what is shown in "Land of Lost Things" it's possible she could be ambidextrous since she uses both hands to write in the episode.
- She shares some similarities to Marina Ida from Splatoon.
- Both wear headphones.
- Both come from societies of their respective villainous faction. (Octarians and Imperians)
- Both are geniuses at technology and build powerful weapons later used. (Flooders and Photacs)
- Both ran away from their societies during an important event that changed their lives. (The Calamari Inkantation and the Merge)

History
Early life
Early life[]
Sora was born in the Kingdom of Imperium from her parents who named her Ana.
She grew up in the Imperian society ruled by the dictatorial regime of Empress Beatrix. Sora was very smart and inventive and was passionate about science and technology since she was little, but was often neglected by her parents for her prodigal mind. An avid fan of Dr. LaRow, Ana dreamed of working for her in the Advanced Systems Lab one day.
Ana wins the science fair
One time, Ana once broke down a vacuum cleaner to make a robot to do her chores. When her mother found out, she was angry that Ana hid in the tunnels and ended up lost for two days.
Dr. LaRow approaches Ana with a job offer
When her latest invention, the Photac, won at her school's science fair, Dr. LaRow personally brought Ana to her lab to hire her. At the lab, Dr. LaRow showed Ana the source of Imperium's power, a dragon nicknamed Sora before doing upgrades to her device to make ferocious animals, as opposed to harmless ones.
Ana refuses to work for Dr. LaRow upon discovering the truth
Realizing that they were going to use her invention to hunt dragons and harm them in their quest to remain powerful, she refused to work for her.
Ana became the least popular student
This action caused her to be despised, shunned, and disowned upon by everyone in Imperium, including her parents, who eventually confiscated her work bench and inventions, demanding she'd find a new interest if she won't use her talents to help Imperium.
Ana runs away from home
While in her room, one day, The Merge occurred before a shockwave came soon after, and Ana discovered a new city in the distance. Deciding to run away from home, she takes her headphones, a few possessions, and changes her name to Sora, after the dragon. As a result of the Merge, Sora unknowingly ended up with the Elemental Power of Technology when the Source Dragon of Focus created it.
After the Merge
After the Merge[]
Crashing Together (flashback)[]
Arriving in Ninjago, Sora went to the Crossroads, a newly established neighborhood created as the home of those who had nowhere else to go following the Merge. Dying of hunger, Sora stole fruit from a Merlopian shopkeeper and ran away. The latter then sent people after her and in her escape Sora ran into a boy named Arin who was carrying pies and who had lost his parents in the Merge. Arin helped her camouflage herself by making her pass as a pie seller with him. Then he offered her some pie and they became friends. Getting used to the Crossroads customs, Sora then stayed there, moving in a penthouse with Arin. She also adopted her own look and started building things, starting to live the life she always dreamed. She also met Alfonzo Frohicky, with whom her and Arin became friends.
Sora would build inventions and mechs and she began participating in street mech races such as the Mech Master 5000 with Arin.
First Try![]
Tales from the Merged Realms[]
The Way In[]
To prepare for the Mech Master 5000, Sora and Arin worked together, using several rusty and heavily damaged parts they had scavenged in hopes of building a mech to race with. As they worked, Sora expressed her desire not only just to win, but to completely crush the competition, to leave them all in the dust and especially Kreel! No sooner than saying her rival's names, Kreel stepped into the teens' penthouse and commented on their work, boasting that she would win the race as always and that Sora didn't stand a chance. To further rub salt in the wound, Kreel turned to Sora specifically and let her know that the registration fee price had increased, knowing fully well that the teens couldn't afford it. After Kreel left their penthouse, an utterly defeated Sora was ready to give up, but Arin managed to talk her out of it.
The next day, Sora went dumpster diving in search of more parts, though she was only able to find a handful of gears, valves, and a suction tube in shoddy condition. Feeling defeated yet again, she sat about the penthouse she shared with Arin, feeling dejected while the latter baked a pie, hoping the sweet treat would cheer her up. When Arin finished his appleberry pie, Sora realized that they could use it in lieu of money for their registration fee and hastily got to work making some further improvements to her mech.
A few hours later, Sora participated in the Mech Master 5000. Although things seemed to shoot off to a great start for her, even managing to overtake Kreel for a few minutes, Sora's mech unfortunately began to collapse due to the shoddy quality of its construction materials. In the end, Sora finished in last place but didn't let the loss discourage her. Instead, she felt more determined than ever to continue to make improvements to her mech and hopefully start winning some races! In fact, there was another one for prize money only a week away!
Dragons Rising, Season 1
Dragons Rising, Season 1[]
The Merge: Part 1[]
While scrounging around the junkyard for parts, Arin distracts some guard dogs with his story about the Merge, even calling him out for proclaiming himself as a ninja, since he doesn't have a master, before finding a spark plug, until they were spotted by Security Bots. They manage to evade them when Sora reprograms them to dance and return to their penthouse, where they make plans to participate in the Mech Master 5000. The following morning, after bribing Mr. Frohicky with a pie, Sora and Arin participate in the race and were close to winning, when a blast occurred at the finishing line, and a baby dragon appeared out of the hole it caused before moving to try and escape the Claws of Imperium. Choosing the abandon the race, Sora and Arin rescue the dragon and try to get away, but a rival racer's early sabotage knocks their racer off the bridge before the dragon make contact with Sora, passing something to her, which soon made her turn her disassembled racer into a mech. Upon returning to the bridge, Sora and Arin try to fight the hunters, only to be incapacitated by the untimely arrival of Lord Ras. On a train bound for Imperium, Sora and Arin talk about their situation, until they hear a noise and look up to see the roof hatch coming off, and their savior making his presence known: Green Ninja, Lloyd Garmadon.
The Merge: Part 2[]
Sora and Arin are rescued by Lloyd, who coerces an Imperium Claw to slice their cuffs before knocking him out and exit the car. On the roof, they end up ambushed by Rapton and some Claws before Sora tries to use her new discovered powers, only to have no effect. Realizing she'll need the dragon, Arin heads for the car he was kept in before he transferred energy to her and she uses her powers to inadvertently turn the Imperium Claws' swords into bomb, and quickly jump as they explode. Getting acquainted with Lloyd, Sora believes they need to warn the dragon's herd before seeing the baby dragon make a sculpture of his home. Heading to the Monastery of Spinjitzu, the dragon finds a scroll of its home: The Land of the Three Mountains.
With Kai having taken the Destiny's Bounty, they prepare to take the new one, but Lloyd hadn't had a chance to tune the engine before Sora, despite having no assistance from the dragon, works on it by hand, humming as she did so. After getting them to work, Lloyd, Sora, and Arin head for the mountains, during which, Sora and Arin kept the baby dragon entertained by playing with him, using Jay's old nunchucks, only to discover the Claws had followed them, and take out the Bounty. Thankfully, they are rescued by the dragon's matriarch, who drops the Bounty, to Sora's annoyance, before the dragon accuses them of harming the baby dragon, whose name is revealed to be Riyu. However, Riyu managed to talk the matriarch down before spotting the Claws going after the herd and move to protect them. After saving one, Rapton grabs her and prepares to drop her off the cliff, only to be saved by the matriarch, who was then caught. Lloyd then had the matriarch transfer some energy to him to take out the Claws. As the dragons prepare to relocate, Sora and Arin say their goodbyes to Riyu, only for him wanting to stay with them as she and Arin are soon made Lloyd's students.
Crossroads Carnival[]
Now residing in the monastery, Sora, Arin, and Riyu made the recreation room as their bedroom.
When woken up by Lloyd, Sora was the only one unhappy about being woken up for training at an early hour and wants field training, to which Arin instantly knew she wanted to go to the Crossroads Carnival, to which Lloyd wouldn't allow it before, after having trouble due to faulty gears, revealing the training course. He intended to time them with a cup of tea, but had burnt it, leading to Sora wondering why before Lloyd showed them a shrine to dedicate his uncle, Wu, and tried to show them he grew a beard, but only sees a sprouting tiny hair before they start training. While Arin did exceedingly well, Sora, due to slight sleep deprivation, was rag-dolled, hitting a wall, tossed into the pond, jabbed in her rear end by Lloyd, and bounced about on platforms.
As the day came to an end, an irritated Sora voiced her complaints to Arin as they sat in the Monastery, wondering if every day of training was going to be like today. Believing that they were deserving of a break, Sora suggested that she and Arin ought to sneak out to the Crossroads Carnival. Although her friend was hesitant at first, Sora managed to convince him by insisting that sneaking out would be a test of their stealth skills and that Arin's pie smelled like a first place winning one to her! When Riyu expressed interest in tagging along, Sora agreed to bring him with them, though she noted that he would need a disguise.
Sometime later, Sora, Arin, and Riyu marveled their way across the carnival, pointing out various sights and wonders as Arin submitted his pie into the pie-baking contest. Unfortunately, the teens' sense of wonder and amusement would be broken by the arrival of Kreel's Whack Rats, who wasted no time in kidnapping Lobbo as the robot was sharing the prize money he had won from the Mech Master 5000. Although Arin quickly followed in pursuit with his grapple gun, Sora's attention was dragged towards the remains of her SA Mark 01 by Riyu. Despite initially protesting that repairing the mech would take hours at best, Sora was given a powerup from Riyu and immediately reconfigured it into a motorbike, giving her the speed necessary to chase down Kreel's goons.
After arriving in Kreel's Junkyard, Sora briefly fought against several Whack Rats on her bike, briefly pausing after defeating them to remark in surprise that she actually used some of the skills Lloyd had tried to teach her and Arin earlier that morning. When Kreel lamented that her friend Targle had been kidnapped, Sora and Arin cut her a deal: in exchange for rescuing Targle, Kreel would leave Lobbo and his money alone. Kreel agreed and provided the teenagers with the location of the drop point that she was supposed to meet the kidnapper at.
Following the information given to them by Kreel, Sora and Arin made their way to a back alley where Riyu discovered a strange lever hidden behind a dumpster. With a strong pull, the lever revealed the entrance to a hidden lair which the teens ventured deeper into. There, they discovered Targle and several other Whack Rats imprisoned inside of a cage with their tormentor being none other than the famed pyrotechnician and showrunner, Dorama! After initial attempts of talking to the deranged thespian failed, the latter activated his theater's many traps and weapon systems in an effort to kill Sora and Arin, occasionally siphoning energy from the Whack Rats into his staff to blast them with as well. Now stuck on a sliding conveyor belt while dodging swinging pendulum axes and bursts of fire, Sora took a moment to lament that Lloyd was right earlier and there really are times where one would find themselves needing obstacle course training in real life. Although she made strong efforts to avoid the many deadly weapons of Dorama's obstacle course, Sora eventually fumbled and braced herself as a jet of flame erupted towards her, only to be blocked by one of the swinging axe blades as Arin shut down the obstacle course.
Unfortunately, the battle was far from over and Dorama unveiled his massive puppet to attack the teenagers with. Even with Lloyd's timely arrival, the puppet managed to grab Sora and squeezed her tightly as it lifted her into the air. Struggling for breath, Sora desperately tried to fight her way out from the marionette's grasp, but found herself unable to do so. Luckily, an improvised attack from Arin followed by Lloyd's recollection of Sora's earlier comments, managed to down the puppet and release her from its grasp.
With Dorama defeated and the Whack Rats rescued, Sora returned to Kreel's Junkyard with her allies. After returning Targle to Kreel, Sora apologized to Lloyd for taking his meditation carpet and expressed hope that all three of them would be able to find a way to work together in time. With master and students reacquainted, the group made their way over to see the results of the pie-baking contest and Lloyd agreed to his students' plans for a snack tour throughout the carnival - though not without the reminder that training resumed at dawn tomorrow, eliciting a weary groan from Sora.
Beyond Madness[]
Writers of Destiny[]
During the process of rebuilding the SA Mark 01, Sora reflected on her own Elemental Powers and considered the possibility that they could belong to Riyu instead. However, Lloyd offered reassurance by confirming that Sora indeed possessed her powers. Amid their conversation, Arin chimed in and mentioned how he was somewhat of a fan of the ninja. Sora interrupted by sharing an anecdote about Arin's obsession with the ninja, recounting the time he attempted to emulate Zane's hairstyle. Sora's attention was abruptly drawn to the Cloud Kingdom as it appeared to be drifting towards them. As they drew nearer, Sora witnessed a MergeQuake taking place, resulting in the fusion of the Cloud Kingdom with a realm teeming with tentacled beasts. Amidst the ensuing pandemonium, two Ice Dragons arrived and launched a fierce assault on the monstrous beings. Sora was surprised at the sight of dragons within the kingdom, prompting Euphrasia to enlighten her about the Ice Dragons seeking refuge in the Cloud Kingdom for their safety. Under Lloyd's instructions, Sora took control of the Sa Mark 01 to ensure the safety of the people. She activated the mech and prepared to face the monster without relying on any Elemental Powers. As she blocked a tentacle with her mech, she realized that the creature was even slimier than it appeared, making it feel like she was fighting a tongue. However, her attempt to defend herself was futile as the monster threw her away, leaving her vulnerable. Sora noticed a group of monks writing but they didn't respond to her urging to get to safety. Before she could continue, the monster grabbed her again. Nya and Kai come to the rescue, using their Spinjitzu to push the monster back to the MergeQuake. Despite Arin's hopes that their plan would work, Sora said that they wouldn't be able to witness the outcome if it failed. The monster was sent back to its realm, but it dropped Sora and Arin, leaving them powerless and vulnerable. As they plummet toward the ground, they suddenly start hovering, lifted by the Elemental Power of Wind.
As the ninja approached the Cloud Monks, they were met by Suetonius, the Master Writer of the Cloud Kingdom. Suetonius anticipated gratitude from the ninja for their heroic act of saving them. However, Sora informed him that it was the ninja who had rescued them while the Cloud Monks were preoccupied with their writing duties. Suetonius, in defense of the Cloud Monks, explained that they were the Writers of Destiny, and whatever they inscribed in their scrolls had the power to manifest in reality. Sora found that assertion difficult to accept and questioned the authenticity of such a claim. Lloyd interjected and pointed out that the writers only took responsibility for shaping fate when it suited their interests. To find a solution to their current predicament, Nya proposed consulting the Cloud Kingdom archives to seek information on how to stop MergeQuakes. Suetonius encouraged the ninja to explore the vast collection of writings held by the Cloud Monks and assigned Marcus to guide them to the library. Lloyd decided to conduct further investigations with Kai and Nya and requested Sora and Arin to remain behind and monitor the situation.
Sora was frustrated as she surveyed the wreckage of her mech. She felt overwhelmed and incapable of fixing it. Reflecting on the situation, she couldn't help but think that Arin should have been allowed to accompany the others on their mission. Arin asked her what she meant. Sora explained that he had taught himself Spinjitzu, and in her eyes, he had the potential to become a ninja more than anyone else, including herself. She acknowledged that she possessed an Elemental Power, but she often struggled to control it. Sora admitted that she believed it would be better for everyone if she refrained from using her powers altogether, as she couldn't seem to control them effectively. Arin extended a heartwarming gesture towards Sora by offering her a hug, which she gratefully accepted as a sign of his support and friendship. However, their conversation was abruptly halted when Arin's attention was drawn to Euphrasia, the girl who had previously saved them by using Wind.
Upon Euphrasia's exit from a building, Sora and Arin immediately confront her. Sora took the initiative to expose Euphrasia as a Wind Elemental by commenting on the powerful winds. However, Euphrasia denied the claim, stating that she could not possess such powers as she hailed from the Cloud Kingdom. Sora, persisting in her belief, informed Euphrasia that she was indeed an Elemental Master. Euphrasia countered by explaining that the Cloud Monks, like herself, solely utilize words to shape destiny, while Elemental Masters rely on actions to impact the world. Sora empathized with her concerns, acknowledging the intimidating nature of her newfound abilities, and suggestsedthat the ninja can provide her with the necessary training. Euphrasia, however, revealed her apprehension about possessing powers, as it would result in her exile from the Cloud Kingdom, therefore losing the entire way of life she held dear. Later on, the ground trembled once again, signaling the reappearance of the monster from the MergeQuake. Sora recalled Lloyd's earlier advice, emphasizing the need to contact him in case anything goes wrong. Arin, attempting to reach out to the ninja, found that they were unresponsive. So he decided to search for them himself, leaving Sora behind.
Sora tried to repair her mech but failed. Despite Riyu's suggestion, she worried that her actions would only make things worse. Suddenly, the monster attacked the Bounty, but Euphrasia stepped in to push it away with her powers. Euphrasia used her powers to push the monster back. However, a second monster emerged from the MergeQuake and grabbed Euphrasia with a tentacle. Sora received some of Riyu's dragon energy, which allowed her to reconfigure her mech and save Euphrasia from the monster's grasp. With the two of them working together, Sora and Euphrasia attack the monsters and vow to shut down the MergeQuake before more creatures can come through. Just as they were fighting, Arin and the ninja arrived. Arin landed on Sora's mech and asked if she received the dragon energy from Riyu. Sora confirmed that she did, and Arin explained that he had been busy freeing the ninja from the Scroll-Worms. Sora was skeptical of his explanation, but they all continued to fight the monsters together. The ninja worked together to push the monsters back into the MergeQuake and close it, averting the fusion of the Cloud Kingdom with the monsters' realm. Arin questioned Sora about the idea of refraining from using her powers for the betterment of the world. Sora, on the other hand, was still uncertain about her role as a ninja but mentioned being motivated by Euphrasia's example to actively assist others. Nya remained in the Cloud Kingdom while Sora and the other ninja traveled back to Ninjago using the Destiny's Bounty.
Return to Imperium[]
Confronting the Claws of Imperium in the Crossroads junkyard, Sora discovered her old invention, the Photac, had resurfaced. After returning to the monastery, Sora plans to return and disable it, only for Arin to insist on joining her, followed by Lloyd. After their hectic entrance through the sewage system, Sora led Lloyd and Arin to the Security Station, where she hacked the computer to put up fake IDs, Sora going with her name, as well as "Surname," and change into some spare clothes and added markings to their faces. However, their cover was instantly blown when a guard spotted they weren't wearing shoulder pads and were sent to the Public Shaming Platform, where Sora was embarrassed as her parents will know she's back. Before they could be screened, Riyu creates a diversion for Sora to sneak into Dr. LaRow's lab and destroy the Photac, only to be confronted by Dr. LaRow herself, who addresses her by her real name.
Mindless Beasts[]
When confronted by Dr. LaRow, Sora was reminded of her return to Imperium due to the reappearance of the Photac. However, she firmly insisted on being addressed by her new name, highlighting the uncanny resemblance between herself and the dragon. Sora was informed that Beatrix's desire to utilize the Photac had grown stronger after the Merge, as it would aid Imperium in hunting down more dragons. Sora expressed surprise that Dr. LaRow had figured it out, considering her lack of expertise in exotic photovoltaic positrons. Dr. LaRow teased Sora about her spirited attitude, prompting her to explain how she had to grow up on the Crossroads after being betrayed by her former idol. Sora questioned why Dr. LaRow hadn't come for her, to which she responded that she knew Sora would return on her own and that Imperium needed her assistance in initializing the copied Photacs. She requested Sora to activate them, but Sora adamantly refused to let her invention be used to harm dragons. Expecting such a response, Dr. LaRow revealed dragon Sora and Dorama, who had reactivated the original Photac. Dorama threatened to harm the dragon if Sora didn't comply. Dr. LaRow questioned Sora's loyalty, to which she reluctantly agreed to help. Sora activated a Photac, causing a bright light that allowed the two Soras to escape.
In their pursuit of an escape route, the two Soras continued their search. However, Sora, who had been absent from Imperium for a long time, struggled to recall the layout of the building. Determined to find the cafeteria, they unintentionally stumbled upon the storage facility, where they encountered Rapton and four Claws Hunters. Asserting her authority, Sora declared herself as the Elemental Master of Technology and threatened to unleash her powers upon them. Rapton, however, challenged her to prove her abilities by using her powers against a Weapon Drone, promising her and dragon Sora's freedom in return. Sora, lacking the assistance of Riyu's dragon power, attempted to tap into her element. Recalling Lloyd's advice about her True Potential, she managed to briefly harness her powers, but struggled to maintain full control. With no other choice, Sora fought the Claws, but was defeated. Upon Sora's return to the Advanced Systems Lab, Ras blackmailed her, claiming that dragon Sora's energy would be depleted unless she activated the copied Photacs. While working on a Photac, Dr. LaRow taunted Sora, pleased that she was helping Imperium. Dr. LaRow believed that Sora now understood that she couldn't stop them and that Imperium would soon be able to capture all the dragons, including the Source Dragons. Sora was confused by the mention of Source Dragons, but she completed the Photacs. Overwhelmed with regret, Sora questioned what she had done.
I Will Be the Danger[]
After the Photacs were activated, the Claws of Imperium used them to halt the dragon breakout, which greatly frustrated Sora. Taking advantage of Dr. LaRow's distraction, Sora swiftly incapacitated LaRow with a Photac before facing Dorama. Sora managed to manipulate Dorama into striking the control panel, resulting in his own electrocution. Consequently, dragon Sora was liberated from her confinement. With a heartfelt embrace, the two Soras successfully escaped from the Advanced Systems Lab and rejoined Lloyd and Arin. However, Arin felt ashamed of Sora's involvement in activating the replicated Photacs. Sora proceeded to explain her actions and reassured them that she can permanently deactivate the Photacs using Technology. Furthermore, Sora disclosed her need for dragon power from Riyu, only to be surprised by Arin's revelation that Riyu was nowhere to be found. Determined, Sora and Arin left to find Riyu.
The Calm Inside[]
Sora and Arin went back to the Security Station in order to find where Riyu is. Lloyd informed Sora that if they can't find Riyu, she would have to shut down the Photacs without his dragon energy. Sora mention that she never been able to use Technology on her own. Lloyd reminded Sora of her True Potential, but Sora questioned if it's as true as Lloyd thought. Suddenly, Sora later found out that Riyu was taken to the Imperium Palace and they started heading towards there. While heading towards the palace, Sora and Arin discussed their plan to sneak past the Imperium Guards. Sora was confident that their ninja stealth training would help them get past the guards easily, as most of them were busy dealing with the dragon breakout. However, Arin reminded Sora that they haven't received any formal stealth training from Lloyd. Sora argued that their previous experience sneaking out to the Crossroads Carnival counted as informal training. As they attempt to sneak past the guards, Arin tripped and get caught by the guards, prompting Sora to comment that he clearly didn't learn anything from their previous training. They were able to trick some guards by lying that Arin tripped because he was uspet by people who appalled the Imperium Guards' shoulder pads. As it worked, Sora, reflecting on the peculiar nature of her homeworld, asked about the cause of Arin's stumble. However, Arin dismissed the topic, not wanting to delve into his own clumsiness. They were able to get into the palace but couldn't reach Riyu due to the Empress and Ras being in the palace. Giving the information to their master Lloyd, Lloyd stated that he'll create a diversion to cause the Empress and Ras to leave the palace. The Monastery of Imperium shakes the city as Sora and Arin attempted to use the shaking as a distraction to reach Riyu. Only for Jordana, Dr. LaRow assistant, to catch them and pushed them away. Jordana expressed her relief as the long-awaited day had finally arrived, bringing with it the opportunity to put an end to her and Sora's rivalry. However, Sora was perplexed by Jordana's mention of a rivalry, questioning if they had met before. Jordana later took both their communicators and destroyed them and made them unable to contact Lloyd.
The Battle of the Second Monastery[]
While restrained, Sora reluctantly confessed to Arin that her birth name was Ana, which surprised and embarrassed Arin. Dr. LaRow then revealed her knowledge of Sora using Riyu's dragon power, implying that Sora was taking advantage of Riyu. Sora vehemently denied these accusations, stating that Riyu willingly shared his power with her. Dr. LaRow tried to manipulate Sora further by drawing parallels between their uses of dragon power, suggesting that Sora had absorbed more knowledge than she realized. Dr. LaRow activated her communicator, showing the intense battle between dragons and Photacs outside, leaving Sora and Arin in shock. Just as Dr. LaRow threatened to make them witness the fate of their friends, a sudden disturbance interrupted the scene, causing confusion and speculation among the group. Sora believed it was a MergeQuake, and as the ground shook, the emergence of the Monastery of Imperium brought a glimmer of hope, symbolized by the determination of the ninja. Sensing a shift in the situation, Sora embraced this newfound hope, inspiring Arin to take action against the scientists.
Jordana issued a warning to Sora, claiming that she would never be able to escape from her. Sora questioned Jordana's identity. This led Jordana to reveal that she used to be one of Sora's classmates, driven to surpass Sora's accomplishments since the science fair. Struggling to recall Jordana's identity, Sora questioned if her hair had been a different color back then, only to be met with a firm denial from Jordana. Sora and Arin sought refuge from Jordana's attacks. Arin's mind drifted back to the training sessions with Lloyd, where they honed their skills in the obstacle course, while Sora remembered the long hours spent practicing tirelessly. As they dodged Jordana's strikes, they managed to use her own weapon to break free from their handcuffs. Despite Jordana's menacing threats, Sora couldn't help but wonder about her identity. Just when they were on the brink of reaching Riyu, Ras suddenly appeared, presenting them with a choice to surrender or face certain doom. Defiantly, they chose to fight back, with Sora hurling the Imperium Sword at Ras, initiating a fierce battle. Arin managed to trip Ras from behind while Sora distracted him. Ras retaliated by knocking Arin unconscious with his hammer and delivering a powerful punch to Sora. However, this action inadvertently led to Riyu breaking free from his cage, unleashing his dragon power and activating Sora's Elemental Powers. Seizing the opportunity, Sora used her powers to trap Ras inside Riyu's cage, rendering him immobile. With Arin regaining consciousness and bewildered by the sudden turn of events, Sora reminded him of their primary mission and they swiftly made their way outside, deactivating the Photacs and heading towards the monastery's portal gate without hesitation.
After a few days, Sora was honing her Elemental Powers on the SA Mark 01, with Riyu observing. Suddenly, Lloyd arrived, catching Sora's attention immediately. Lloyd was surprised as he noticed Sora practicing alone. Sora hesitated for a moment before explaining that she was uncertain whether Technology belonged to her or Riyu, but she felt a sense of duty to use them. She was eager to explore the possibilities that lay ahead. Lloyd inquired about the whereabouts of the rest of the group, to which Sora speculated that they might be at the newly established dragon stables. The mention of the dragon stables piqued Lloyd's interest, prompting Sora to reveal that Wyldfyre and some of the liberated dragons had chosen to remain there.
The Temple of the Dragon Cores[]
Sometime after freeing the dragons, Sora rode on her dragon namesake as she accompanied the other ninja to close a MergeQuake, where she rescues Gus when he falls from a car that almost went over due to the events. After returning to the monastery, Sora tells Arin that his wonder about the dragon stables is not some part of a cosmic plan. The following morning, she and Arin watch Lloyd attempt to lecture them on keeping the monastery maintained. Later on, Sora crashes into the monastery wall Lloyd had just fixed while in her mech. A little later, she and the other ninja try to stop Kai and Wyldfyre from fighting with Sora and Nya holding back Wyldfyre until Zane stopped the two.
Learning the MergeQuakes were getting more frequent and Nya's studies led to the discovery of a temple, Sora, riding her dragon namesake again, accompanied the others to the Temple of the Dragon Cores, where they come across a door. After Kai's impatient instincts and Zane's studying, Sora, along with Arin and Wyldfyre, pull the door's levers simultaneously before entering. Upon reaching the main part, Kai and Wyldfyre use their powers to open the doors on each side of a large statue, which disturbed two spirits, who came out to attack them and their attempts to fight back proved futile. When Lloyd rearranged an altar in front of the statue, the spirits eventually merge into one and began to explain that three Dragon Cores can prevent the MergeQuakes, and was surprised to hear her master was the grandson of the First Spinjitzu Master, something Lloyd didn't tell her.
Armed with the knowledge, they return to the monastery, where later that night, Sora and Arin manage to convince Lloyd to bring Alfonzo as Assistant Keeper of the Monastery.
Gangs of the Sea[]
In the hangar bay, the ninja gathered to discuss their plan for finding the Dragon Cores. Lloyd proposed splitting into three teams, but Nya interrupted, stating that she and Sora would form a team. Sora eagerly agreed and suggested that Riyu join them as well. With their teams decided, Nya, Sora, and Riyu prepared to begin their mission to retrieve the yellow Dragon Core. However, when Nya called out to Sora, the dragon appeared instead, causing confusion. Nya clarified that she meant human Sora, but both of them were still perplexed. Growing frustrated, Nya emphasized that both Soras were would go in the journey. And so, Nya, Riyu, and the two Soras set off towards the Pinnacle of Crystals.
Wyldly Inappropriate[]
Sora and Nya commence an expedition towards the Pinnacle of Crystals to claim the yellow Dragon Core. However, upon reaching their destination, they discovered that the Dragon Core was missing. Sora, recognizing the gravity of the situation, expressed concern over the implications of the unexpected turn of events.
The Last Djinn[]
As Sora, Nya, and Riyu continue their journey through an ancient tomb, Sora can't help but voice her growing concern over the shrinking size of the tunnels. Suddenly, they spot a skeleton impaled on a spike wall. With a touch of sarcasm, Sora remarked that their unwelcome reception was evident, referring to the booby trap spears that attacked them upon entering the tomb. Nya reminded Sora about the missing yellow Dragon Core. To aid them in their quest, Nya revealed that she has brought Seeker Stones borrowed from the Writers of Destiny. However, Sora can't help but be pessimistic about their chances. She predicted that even before they have a chance to use the Seeker Stones, they will fall into a pool of acid. Nya was puzzled by Sora's comment, prompting her to recount the series of unfortunate events she has encountered thus far. From the Photac being used to hunt dragons, dragging the ninja into battle with Imperium since the Mech Master 5000, and now the missing Dragon Core. Nya accidentally stepped on a tile, causing them to fall into a pit of acid, but she used her water powers to save herself, Sora, and Riyu. Sora remembered predicting the acid, but Nya corrected her, pointing out that the stones didn't fall into the acid. Nya emphasized the importance of never giving up or losing hope to the ninja. Sora admitted it's hard to remain hopeful when things go wrong, to which Nya responded that without hope, nothing can go right. Sora asked if it's a saying from Wu, but Nya clarified that it's her own, inspired by Wu's teachings beyond fighting.
Upon entering the burial vault, they admired its intricate design. Sora praised the interior design, while Nya credited the djinns' flair for showmanship. Sora initially mistook the djinn for a person, but Nya clarified that they were a magical race with wish magic, wiped out when Djinjago was destroyed. As they approached the altar, Nya attempted to arrange the Seeker Stones correctly, only to trigger a shockwave instead of revealing the core's location. Sora blamed her own bad luck for the setback, prompting them to consider other options and exit the tomb. They met up with dragon Sora and Jiro outside, where Sora delivers disappointing news to the dragons, setting a somber tone for the group. Dragon Sora let out a fierce roar, and Nya asks what was troubling her. Sora expresses her concern about the impending end of the world. However, Nya clarifies that she is referring to dragon Sora, calling her Sora One. This surprised Sora, who wondered why she wasn't called Sora One. Soon, Sora noticed the symbols on her and Nya's hands, and two Howlers appear, attacking the group. Sora engaged in close combat with one of the Howlers, but her efforts are interrupted when another Howler grabs her and throws her onto Nya. Dragon Sora carried Sora and Riyu, while Jiro carried Nya, taking them into a cave, where they encounter a djinn named Arrakore, who warns them about his magic. Sora then discovered that dragon Sora's real name was Zanth and that she is good friends with Arrakore. Arrakore explained that he and Zanth survived the destruction of Djinjago by being in different realms. Sora asked if Arrakore had been alone during that time, and Arrakore pointed out the lack of visitors and the old laundry in the cave as evidence. Sora suggested hanging up pictures to make the cave feel more like home, but Arrakore dismissed the idea, questioning the need to impress the rocks. Zanth then warned Arrakore about the Howlers, which piqued Sora's curiosity. Arrakore revealed that they were cursed by the Seeker Stones since they used them wrong, which explains why the Howlers were after them. Sora acknowledged Arrakore's expertise in wish magic, the only thing that could stop the Howlers. However, Arrakore disclosed that his wish magic was gone with Djinjago destroyed. Sora voiced her frustration, reminding Nya that she had previously cautioned her about being a harbinger of misfortune.
Sora, Nya, and the dragons geared up for battle against the Howlers, with Sora questioning Arrakore's lack of support. Despite Arrakore's discouragement, Sora remained determined, pointing out that ninja never quit. When a Howler threatened Riyu, Sora intervened but was overpowered. She was disappointed in Arrakore's reluctance to assist, prompting her to reflect on her own attitude. Nya reminded Arrakore that no one is truly powerless, leading him to notice the sand around his necklace growing. Sora explained that hope was the key to unlocking his powers, likening it to a wish. The group's hope to defeat the Howlers was to restore Djinjago, with Arrakore realizing the importance of hope. Sora requested his help, and Arrakore revealed that his magic could only be activated through wishes. Nya and Sora made wishes for Arrakore to aid them in defeating the Howlers, unleashing his powers and ultimately dispelling the threat.
They Call It Doom[]
Sora, Nya, and Riyu made final preparations before leaving. Sora was gratitful towards Arrakore for not only his exceptional cooking skills but also his talent in singing. Arrakore elaborated on the importance of celebrating their victory over the Howlers through feasting and singing heroic songs, which not only boosted morale but also allowed him to slowly replenish his strength to perform wish magic once again. Nya wished to find the yellow Dragon Core, prompting Arrakore to summon a arrowhead that would serve as a compass to lead them to the core's destination, causing the stone to grow in size. Despite the strain on his powers, Arrakore entrusted the arrowhead to Nya before the group set off on Zanth and Jiro, following the arrowhead's direction.
Upon their arrival in the Land of Lost Things, the enchanted compass malfunctions. While exploring the peculiar environment, they stumble upon a plethora of miscellaneous objects, highlighting the oddity of the place. Unexpectedly, various items start sprouting from a trash geyser, propelling Riyu into the air. In an attempt to catch Riyu, Sora inadvertently ends up with Riyu landing on top of her. Sora identified most of the items as originating from the Kingdom of Imperium. Just then, they notice Fritz and Spitz fleeing in the distance. Driven by curiosity, Sora, Nya, and Riyu embark on a pursuit to uncover the truth. However, their pursuit was interrupted by the arrival of an elemental Golem, who attacked them under the assumption that they were harming the children. Nevertheless, Nya's use of Spinjitzu caused the golem to stand down, leading them to discover that the golem was actually Cole.
Land of Lost Things[]
Sora was surprised to hear Nya talking about the Earth Ninja. She told Cole that she knew about him because Arin was a big fan of the ninja and mentioned how he tried to copy Zane's hairstyle once. Sora was curious about the Finders and was surprised when two of them, Fritz and Spitz, suddenly appeared behind her. She expressed her amazement at the existence of the Land of Lost Things, as she had always thought it was just a legend. Nya then brought up the yellow Dragon Core, which was also found in the Land of Lost Things. But their conversation was cut short by the arrival of the Hoarder, who attacked them. Sora asked Cole how all the lost items ended up in the valley, but he didn't know much about it. However, he pointed out a giant noodle cup in the distance. Following Fritz and Spitz, Nya, Sora, and Cole entered the cup, where they met Geo. Geo decided to distract the monster, while Cole created an escape tunnel for everyone to use. They watched as Geo used his own powers to fuse the cup with the Hoarder's hand. Eventually, Geo rejoined the group, leaving Sora in awe of his Elemental Powers.
The ninja and the Finders head towards the Rookery. Along the way, they admired Geo's sculptures. Sora shared how she used to create new technology from old junk, still believing that her Elemental Powers come from Riyu. They then talked about the new Elemental Powers created after the Merge, but the Hoarder's roar interrupted them. Geo reassured them they were safe in the Rookery. As they entered the Rookery, Cole told Sora and Nya about the Finders, who ended up in the Land of Lost Things after running away from home. Sora shared her own story of running away after the Merge. She believed that she would have been stranded in the Land of Lost Things if she hadn't met Arin. Sora noticed the machine that was keeping the Hoarder at bay. She identified it as Stone Age Imperium technology and was curious about its power source. Cole opened a door in the machine, revealing the yellow Dragon Core. Because the Finders couldn't leave the Land of Lost Things due to a mysterious fog, Sora proposed reconfiguring the machine with a different power source so they can take the yellow Dragon Core. Sora gave Nya and Cole a list of necessary parts for the plan while Geo would be the new power source if the plan was successful.
Sora began working on a machine while Geo watched, confused. She explained that the machine ran on dragon power and was fueled by a Dragon Core. Geo asked about Dragon Cores and how they related to his own abilities. Sora described how Dragon Cores restored balance in the world using dragon power and how they were connected to elemental powers, like Elemental Sparks. Sora suggested that Geo's power could be used to charge a new battery to function like a Dragon Core, but building it would be difficult. Geo was impressed with Sora's knowledge and asked if she had learned it in Imperium. Sora admitted that while Imperium was technologically advanced, it was not respectful towards its citizens and dragons. She shared that her family was unsupportive and unloving, which led her to leave. Geo related to Sora's experience, revealing that he left home due to the animosity between Munce and Geckles. He mentioned that he did not remember his parents, and Sora empathized with him. She expressed her wish to forget her parents and admitted that even if she were to save the world with the ninja, she believed her parents would still be disappointed in her. Geo commented that living in Imperium had taken a toll on Sora. She agreed, saying her belief that she may never be able to fully recover from the experience.
Sora finished working on the machine while Geo asked if it would hurt, but Sora was unsure because she didn't have much experience with it. Sora asked Riyu for help fixing the machine. Suddenly, Bonzle interrupted them with a warning about Dr. LaRow. Sora confronted Dr. LaRow, who wasn't surprised to see her in the Land of Lost Things. Dr. LaRow explained that the valley was used to dump failed experiments, which she believed Sora was one of. Sora disagreed and believed that broken things could be fixed and made stronger. Then, Dr. LaRow ordered her drones to attack, and they pinned Sora down. Dr. LaRow asked for Sora's opinion on the upgrades made to the drones, and Sora acknowledged their effectiveness and questioned where Dr. LaRow got the idea. Dr. LaRow denied stealing anyone else's work and claimed everything in the Advanced Systems Lab was legally hers. She criticized Sora's experiments and sent an Imperium Drone to retrieve the Dragon Core.
As Sora observed the Hoarder connecting a few Imperium Drones to its body, the sight made her realize that the Hoarder was Sweeper, known for its obsession with Imperium technology. Sora was instructed to get everyone out of the Rookery, but she had a different idea. She called out to the Hoarder, offering her interest in Imperium tech. With Riyu's help, Sora used her powers to disassemble the Hoarder's head, revealing Sweeper. As Sweeper was contained, Sora explained that Sweeper was a magnetic organism designed to clean Imperium Sewers, and she had realized that it was just searching for Imperium tech in the Land of Lost Things after being sent there. Geo thanked Sora, who then credited Riyu for powering her up.
Absolute Power[]
Sora, Nya, and Cole were discussing their plan to retrieve the yellow Dragon Core from Imperium, which was impossible to fly there by dragons due to the electric barrier. Sora suggested building a suit of weaponized armor for Jiro that would increase his natural energy and allow him to blast through the barrier. Nya was skeptical about the effectiveness of Sora's plan and asks if there was a better idea. Sora, however, was confident that the armor could work and was willing to give it a try. With Riyu's help, Sora used her Elemental Powers to construct the armor using scrap from the valley. After some time, Sora finished the armor and attached it to Jiro's back. She eagerly asked Jiro for his opinion, and he responded with a nuzzle, indicating his approval. Sora and Riyu quickly make their way toward Zanth, preparing to head to Imperium with Nya and Jiro.
We Are All Dragons[]
When Sora and Nya returned to Imperium, Sora mentioned the Imperians' belief in the utopian nature of their city, including her own parents. Nya suggested talking to her parents to convince them otherwise, but Sora dismissed the idea, knowing their unwavering faith in Imperium. As they talked, they saw a battle going and realized that the other ninja were confronted by Beatrix and the Claws as well. Sora had doubts about whether Jiro's armor could destroy the energy barrier. However, her concerns were quickly dismissed when she witnessed Jiro successfully destroy the barrier with his blasters and Lightning. During the battle, Sora approached Lloyd and asked about Imperium's theft of the remaining two Dragon Cores. Lloyd explained that they only managed to take the purple one. While the dragons were fighting Beatrix, Sora and the others used a dumpster chute to reach the Resistance's base.
When they arrived at the base, Sora was puzzled as she recalled Percival handing over Riyu to Beatrix before. Percival clarified that they had witnessed the ninja freeing the dragons, which contradicted Beatrix's denial of the event. This led them to investigate further and uncover a web of lies, including the death of Levo, to which Sora admitted to being unaware of at all. Percival proceeded to disclose that there were other Imperians who stood against Beatrix, and as a result, they suffered covert repercussions similar to what Levo and Zeatrix experienced, which were employed as a means to expel them from the kingdom. Furthermore, they possessed concrete evidence of Beatrix confessing to her deceitful actions. Sora questioned how the truth would be disseminated, considering Beatrix's control over information in Imperium. Percival revealed that they had an insider who can grant them access to the broadcast tower so they could hack through the encryption and stream their message to every screen in Imperium. Percival thought that Sora's arrival at that moment was destined because she had inspired them to take action. One of the teenagers then added that Sora's act of defying LaRow and Beatrix by leaving and resisting their control was unprecedented. Even though none of them had the skills to hack the broadcast encryption, they believed Sora could do it. After hearing their request, Sora agreed to join their cause, along with Arin and Riyu.
Percival led Sora, Arin, and Riyu to the broadcast tower with an insider's help. Sora was amazed that they had access to such a high-level clearance area. When they reached the top, they were surprised to see that Rapton was the insider. Sora was skeptical of Rapton's loyalty and suspected him of being a spy for Beatrix. However, Rapton assured them that he despised Beatrix and had information about her plan to activate her weapon. He asked if they trusted him, and although hesitant, Sora agreed to a temporary truce with Rapton. After Beatrix's deceitful actions were revealed, Sora acknowledged the progress and asserted that it was now her turn to take action. Addressing the Imperians, Sora revealed the truth that Beatrix has confirmed, exposing Imperium as a place that inflicted suffering upon dragons, rather than the idyllic paradise it had been portrayed as. Sora emphasized that the comfort and privilege enjoyed by the Imperians came at the expense of other living beings, a situation that cannot be allowed to continue. Furthermore, Sora exposed Beatrix's cruelty by sharing personal experiences of being used and discarded when she could no longer be controlled. Drawing a parallel between herself and the dragons, both of whom are seen as mindless beasts by Beatrix, Sora believed that the Imperians possessed a strength that Beatrix underestimated. Calling for a revolution, Sora urged everyone to rise up and fight for their freedom, declaring that they are all dragons. Sora and the others observed the protest unfolding before them. Percival stated that it was Sora's doing. However, Sora quickly corrected him, emphasizing that they all played a part in this. Sora proudly declared that they were all like dragons.
The Power Within[]
Sora left from the broadcast tower to rendezvous with the rest of the ninja, but along the way, she aided the Imperians in finding safety. Once reunited with the ninja, they battled against Beatrix. Unfortunately, they found themselves overpowered as Beatrix unleashed a barrage of MergeQuakes upon Imperium. Zane struggled to devise a plan to disarm Beatrix. However, Sora proposed using Riyu's Elemental Sparks to dismantle the MergeQuake weapon from a distance. Spotting Riyu, Sora urgently called out to him. Before Riyu can reach her, Beatrix fired a shot, triggering a MergeQuake that ensnared Riyu. Overwhelmed with grief, Sora desperately cried out for Riyu.
Soon, Sora discovered her parents. But, to her shock, they don't believe the truth and demand her to come with them as they were her family. Sora simply told them she had a new family before eventually reaching her True Potential, right in front of her parents, to destroy the MergeQuake weapon, giving Arin the opportunity to send Beatrix into a MergeQuake rift. Lloyd, acknowledging Sora's accomplishment, expresses his belief in her possession of Elemental Powers all along. Still saddened by Riyu's supposed loss, Sora admitted that she had believed she needed Riyu.
Suddenly, a storm begins and they all head for the Crossroads to save the people, Sora saving Lobbo. When Alfonzo brought the last Dragon Core over, Lloyd used all three to stabilize the merged realms, ending the MergeQuake storm and bringing back those pulled in by it, including Kai, Wyldfyre, Riyu, Rapton, and Percival.
After Lloyd and Riyu freed the Source Dragon from underneath Imperium, they came across Sora, who tries to use her powers on her own to fix her mech before eventually joining in on having Arin's pies with the other ninja.
The Elemental Mechs
The Elemental Mechs[]
What the Mech?[]
Sora, Kai, and Arin teamed up to participate in Kai's Super Awesome Slide Course, which Kai claimed was for training purposes. Sora was about to express her concern about Lloyd disapproving of their actions, but Kai interrupted her as they slid down the slide. While going through the course, they accidentally bumped into Cole. Cole informed Sora and the others about the dangerous shipment of items, including Chronosteel, to Ninjago. Sora became curious about what she could create with Chronosteel, as it had the ability to harness Elemental Power. Kai mentioned that Chronosteel was used to create the Time Blades, which had almost ruined all of history. Sora assured him that she had no intention of repeating that incident. Arin, knowing that Kreel had been advertising these items for days, suggested that they go to Kreel's Junkyard to warn her.
Despite Kreel's assurance that the shipped items were harmless, Lobbo's interaction with one of the objects resulted in him being electrocuted, transforming him. This incident prompted Sora to question Kreel's claim regarding the safety of the items. Enraged, Lobbo unleashed a series of relentless attacks. While the ninja attempted to hold Lobbo at bay, Sora caught sight of a Chronosteel block, which she had been hoping to find. She used the Chronosteel block to construct three mechs, assigned for Kai, Cole, and herself. Sora devised a plan for the ninja to subdue Lobbo, allowing her the opportunity to siphon the energy that altered him. As Arin pacified Lobbo, Sora drained the energy from him, successfully restoring him to his normal state. As the ninja confiscated the perilous items from Kreel, Kai suggested employing these dangerous items for his slide course, much to the disapproval of Sora and the rest of the group.
The Mech Master[]
Sora, Kai, Cole, Nya, Arin, and Riyu were heading towards the stands to watch the Mech Master 5000. Kai and Cole were indulging in a Snowberry Pie topped with Crème de Imperium, much to the disappointment of Arin who had just lost to Grab-Barg once again. Frustrated, Sora regreted not being able to enter the Mech Master 5000 on time due to being preoccupied with her ninja duties. Nya tried to comfort Sora by assuring her that there was always next year to participate in the race. As the racers prepare for the race, the Mechanic shows up after deactivating the mechs with an EMP device. Upon seeing the Mechanic, Sora questions if her is here to fix things, only to discover that the Mechanic is a criminal who has stolen the mechs. The ninja quickly steps in to stop the Mechanic, with Sora, Kai, and Cole using their Elemental Mechs to confront him. The Mechanic uses one of the stolen mechs to ram into the Elemental Mechs, causing them to break apart. While the remaining mechs deal with the ninja, Cole encourages Sora to pursue the Mechanic, knowing she is the fastest racer among them. Sora rebuilds her mech using parts from Cole's and Kai's mechs, then sets off in pursuit of the Mechanic.
Sora caught up to the Mechanic, who belittled her Tech Power and pushed her off the bridge. Using Kai's mech's legs as a boost, Sora returned to the bridge and destroyed the Mechanic's mech. Sora expresses her lack of admiration for the Mechanic, with Kai and Cole agreeing. Cole commented that Sora got her wish to race today, much to her delight. Later, they meet up with Nya, Arin, and Riyu. Arin told Sora that he and Riyu have brought Grab-Barg's pies and urged her to try one. Sora tasted a spoonful of Crème de Imperium and was impressed, calling it the best she's ever had. However, she noticed Arin's disappointment and amended her statement, calling it the second-best pie she's ever tried.
A Pain in the Mech![]
Sora, Arin, and Riyu joined Kai and Cole as they headed to witness the Crossroads' noodle cook-off. During the event, Cole boldly stated that Chen's Noodle House served better noodles compared to those at the Crossroads. However, Sora, taken aback by Cole's audacity, questioned his decision to bring outside food to the cook-off. Sora pointed out that it was considered offensive to bring food from another establishment to the competition. Sora attempted to persuade Cole to give the Crossroads' noodles a chance by tasting them, but Cole remained unimpressed by the flavors. In response, Sora pointed out that it was not her fault if Cole preferred bland noodles. However, their discussion was abruptly interrupted when the Ice Dragons launched an attack. Sora, Kai, and Cole quickly sprang into action by deploying their mechs to defend against the Ice Dragons. Their efforts were complicated when the Lava-Tides interfered by attacking the ninja. Sora took charge by restraining the Lava-Tides to prevent them from causing more chaos. To counter the Lava-Tides, Sora made a strategic move by swapping her mech's legs and arm with Cole's mech's. She used the Elemental Earth Mech's leg to throw the Lava-Tides off-balance and then exchanged arms with Kai to restrain the second Ice Dragon. Following the chaos, it was revealed that Lava-Tony had stolen the Ice Dragons' eggs to use in his noodles as a secret ingredient. Riyu pushed Lava-Tony against his oven, causing his noodles to scatter everywhere. Sora and the team swiftly returned the stolen eggs to the Ice Dragons before making their way back to the Monastery of Spinjitzu. Upon their return, Lloyd eagerly awaited an explanation for the events that had unfolded. Once the ninja clarified the situation, Sora and Cole finally had the chance to enjoy some Crossroads' noodles that had been mixed in with Chen's.

Dragons Rising, Season 2[]
The Blood Moon[]
Sora carried a kid on her back away from a burning building in the Crossorads, while she was being filmed by NinjaFanInfinity and SpinjitzuForDays99. She later turned Lobbo's mech into a DJ set, immediately initiating a party alongside Arin, Wyldfyre, and Riyu.
Shattered Dreams[]
The ninja deliberated on Lloyd's premonitions concerning the Wolf Mask Warriors and the Blood Moon. Sora emphasized that just because they were visions, it didn't necessarily mean they were inevitable, highlighting the importance of taking control of their own fate. Intrigued by Ras' interest in acquiring the Mallet of Shattering, the ninja were eager to uncover the reason behind it. Sora proposed that they visit All-Realm Antiques Emporium in order to gather more information and possibly find answers to their questions.
At the Crossroads, Sora went with Lloyd, Zane, and Arin to meet Fedulian, their target. Recognizing Arin's trusting nature, Sora took it upon herself to remind Arin of the importance of being tough during their interrogation with Fedulian. As they engaged in conversation with Fedulian, Arin fell for Fedulian's deceitful claims, but Sora remained skeptical and decided to question Fedulian about the stolen Mallet of Shattering. Sora astutely pointed out that they could assist in retrieving the mallet, but Fedulian adamantly denied any involvement and abruptly departed. Sensing that something was amiss, Sora and the rest of the group stealthily ascended to the rooftop of Fedulian's shop, where they eavesdropped on Fedulian's conversation with Hantro through a tablet. During this surveillance, Sora caught sight of her cat graffiti behind Hantro just before the call abruptly ended. The ninja then proceeded to the alleyway where the cat graffiti was located. Arin and Lloyd mistakenly believed the graffiti was noodles and meatballs, while Zane pointed out that it did not resemble a cat, much to Sora's disappointment. Shortly after, Hantro appeared and tried to attack the group with her artifacts, but her attempts were futile as they were harmless and ineffective. Sora inquired about the Mallet of Shattering, to which Hantro responded by explaining that with the Gong of Shattering and the Wolf Masks, they could destroy the purity of a Wolf Mask user in order to acquire evil combat techniques and mystical powers. Upon their return to the Monastery, Sora inquired about Lloyd belief in Hantro's lore. Just as they were discussing, Percival and Euphrasia arrived. Euphrasia, with a sense of urgency, warned the ninja about the invasion of the Cloud Kingdom by the Wolf Clan.
The ninja swiftly boarded the Destiny's Bounty and set sail toward the Cloud Kingdom. As they arrived at their destination, the Wolf Mask Warriors were coercing the Writers of Destiny to translate texts in Theroxian. Zane pointed out the sinister aura emanating from the language, leaving Sora perplexed about the concept of an evil language. The ninja managed to incapacitate one of the Wolf Mask Warriors, leading to the liberation of Suetonius, who had been trapped in a cocoon. Suetonius proceeded to reveal that Ras was responsible for cursing the Scroll-Worms. Upon Lloyd's mention of the Blood Moon, Suetonius elaborated on the significance of the Blood Moon and the Ritual of the Blood Moon, which had the power to release the Forbidden Five. Sora expressed her apprehension at the ominous name of the Forbidden Five, learning from Suetonius that they were once virtuous Elemental Masters who had turned to darkness, seeking to conquer the realms through destruction. However, they were thwarted by an enigmatic force from the East, subsequently banished and erased from memory. Now, Ras sought to resurrect the Forbidden Five through the Ritual of the Blood Moon, posing a grave threat to the Merged Lands. The ninja's contemplation was interrupted by the arrival of more Wolf Mask Warriors, whom they valiantly defeated.
Sora and the ninja came across Ras and Jordana. When Jordana confidently claimed that the ninja would never be able to stop them, Sora mentioned that they were actually defeating the Wolf Mask Warriors. However, Sora still couldn't recall Jordana's name. As Jordana angrily clarified her name, Sora only recognized Jordana as a fellow classmate from the Kingdom of Imperium. Ras activated the Gong of Shattering, turning a group of wolf warriors into Wolf Mask Claw Warriors. The ninja struggled against the upgraded foes, with Sora unable to use her Elemental Powers due to lack of technology. The situation escalated when Ras brought Cinder into the battle, only for Kai to swiftly defeat him. However, Cinder turned the tables by wearing a Wolf Mask and perform Shatterspin after Ras sounded the gong again. With Cinder's victory over the ninja and Wyldfyre's leg broken, the ninja had no choice but to retreat, with Sora carrying Wyldfyre back to the Destiny's Bounty.

The Shape of Motion[]
As Sora and Arin waited for the ninja to arrive, they observed the Craglings presenting the Matriarch of the Mountain Dragons with their sacred mud, hoping it would aid in her healing. Despite their efforts, Sora believed the mud alone would not suffice. When the other ninja finally joined them, Sora relayed the troubling news, and the Matriarch warned Lloyd of an imminent danger, entrusting him with a map. The Matriarch succumbed to her injuries, leaving the ninja in grief. In the midst of their sorrow, Sora grappled with the brutality of the attack, questioning how anyone could commit such an atrocity. Lloyd shared the Matriarch's warning about the potential peril facing the Source Dragons. At that moment, Sora heard a faint whimper and discovered the Matriarch's infant daughter concealed within one of her nursing pouches. Concerned for the child's safety, Sora feared that the same assailant might target the baby next. Lloyd proposed that they should return the child to her herd, but Sora reminded him that the Mountain Dragons had fled the Land of the Three Mountains following the assault by the Claws of Imperium. Riyu then drew arrow, which initially confused the ninja until they recalled Riyu's unique ability to track the Mountain Dragons like the Matriarch had previously mentioned. Sora rode alongside Lloyd and Arin on Zanth, closely trailing Riyu during their expedition. Soon, they were ambushed by Rapton and the Claw Hunters, catching Sora off guard as Rapton announced his return. He explained that after the Liberation of Imperium, he and the Claw Hunters had rebranded as the Freebooters, struggling to fit into their new roles within the Kingdom of Imperium and turning to mercenary work. With the assistance of the Mountain Dragons, the ninja defeated the Freebooters, with all the Claw Hunters collapsing on Rapton. Using Technology, Sora made Rapton's hover chariot speed away, taking him and the Claw Hunters off course. The ninja were then guided to a World Tree in the World Forest, where they successfully reunited the Matriarch's daughter with her tribe.
Upon the ninja's return to the monastery, they were confronted by a dragon. Sora inquired about the dragon's identity, and the dragon introduced herself as the Source Dragon of Motion, seeking the ninja's assistance. She warned them that the same people who killed the Matriarch demise were also responsible for the deaths of two other Arc Dragons, and that her kind might be next in line. The Source Dragon explained the threats facing her species, particularly since they were already vulnerable before the Merge, citing the capture of the Source Dragon of Energy and the death of another Source Dragon. She indicated that if all Source Dragons were to perish, the Merged Realms will be destroyed, as they're essential to the very fabric of reality. The Source Dragon of Motion emphasized that it was the ninja's responsibility to bring the killers to justice before they could target the remaining Source Dragons, as she and her kin were unable to identify the culprits. Upon learning about the map given to Lloyd by the Matriarch, the Source Dragon of Motion realized it led to the City of Temples, suspecting that the killers would be participating in the Tournament of the Sources. Consequently, she tasked Sora and the other ninja with attending the Tournament to track down the threat.
Enter the City of Temples[]
Arin showed off his new pie, Merlopian Berry Creme, to Sora and Riyu. Arin proudly announced it as a creation from his best friend Frak. Sora's jealousy flared up at the mention of Frak. Arin clarified that Frak was his bestie besides Sora and Riyu and that they were friends before the Merge, sharing a mutual love for the ninja. Sora was impressed, and Arin reminisced about how excited Frak would be for Arin now, even though they've lost touch since he moved away. Arin decided to whip up more pies for the rest of the ninja before they head off to the Tournament of the Sources. Sora insisted he should come along, but Arin felt out of place since the tournament is meant for Elemental Masters. Sora playfully suggested that Arin was the Elemental Master of Pie, emphasizing the importance of his presence as part of the team. However, Arin lamented that, despite the excitement, he felt he does not have a place in the event.
When Lloyd returned from the training plateau of the Dragon Masters, he had Sora and the rest of the ninja sport bowls of on their heads as training. Sora questions the necessity of this arrangement. Lloyd jokes mentions the advantages of stew-jitzu, prompting a groan from Nya, while Sora and Arin share a quiet laugh. Lloyd, eager to proceed, tosses bowls towards the ninja, who catch them with ease.
Sora and Arin made their way to the Dragon Stone Shrine using the Explorer, accompained with the other ninja. As they arrived, the ninja spotted Euphrasia stepping into an elevator, prompting Arin to excitedly shake Sora and express his delight about the unfolding events. Sora, however, reminded him that he had almost decided not to come at all. As they approached the entrance, Sora was eager to move forward, but was uncertain about how to proceed. Zane then inspected the closed slot Euphrasia used. Sora noticed a speaking tube and called out, asking if anyone could hear them as she stated their intention to attend the Tournament. Suddenly, another door opened, revealing Bleckt, who introduced himself as the Minister of Ledgering for the Tournament of the Sources. Bleckt explained that he oversaw all lists and records for the event, highlighting his family's long history of organizing the tournament. However, Bleckt suggested the ninja should leave if they did not have an invitation from the Spirit Dragons. Wyldfyre insisted that they were esteemed Elemental Masters deserving of an invitation, but Bleckt dismissed her, saying they would not be able to compete. Offended, Sora challenged Bleckt's authority, questioning his identity as the Elemental Master of Shade. Bleckt, however, simply bypassed the ninja and allowed Obscuria, the Elemental Master of Shade, to enter the City of Temples.
As Kizzy took the elevator into the city, Sora and Arin opted for the Explorer, which fired a grappling hook that secured itself to the rising elevator. This allowed the elevator to hoist the Explorer, carrying Sora and Arin, up the cliff while the other ninja soared alongside them on their dragons. Suddenly, Security Bots arrived, attacking the ninja for their intrusion. Two of the bots focused on Sora and Arin in the Explorer, forcing them to jump out. Sora landed on one of the Security Bots. While hanging on, Sora attempted to use her Elemental Powers against the bot, but to her dismay, nothing happened. The bot made a sudden turn, causing Sora to lose her grip and tumble onto Zanth. Realizing that the Security Bots were constructed from outdated technology, which rendered her powers ineffective, Sora felt frustrated. As more Security Bots approached, the dragons urged the ninja to secured themselves to the cliff while they engage in battle. Sora and the ninja used their Dragon Hooks to attach to the cliff face and began their ascent, but Sora looked down, calling out for Arin and feeling anxious about his absence. Cole mentioned spotting Arin riding a flying bot, with Riyu in pursuit. Concerned for her friend's safety, Sora pressed on. Upon reaching the top, the ninja were met with onlookers who were watching a recording of their skirmish with the Security Bots. As they took in the scene, the entrance swung open to reveal Roby and Bleckt. Bleckt commanded the Security Bots to detain the ninja, but Roby intervened, revealing his authority as the Games Master of the tournament. He enthusiastically invited Sora and the others to participate in his grand vision for a multimedia event, promising even more surprises as the gates opened to showcase the City of Temples. However, Sora interrupted, voicing her worries about where Arin and Riyu had gone.
They Gather for the Feast[]
Sora and the other of the ninja discovered Arin and Riyu already in the City of Temples with Arin's old friend, Frak. Though Frak departed from the group sooner than intended due to his master summoning him for a training session.
Sora and the ninja crew were offered a tour by Roby and Bleckt, but Bleck was interrupted by Roby calling him boring. As the tour continued, Roby claimed that old tradition was going to be replaced by 'the new era'. They then showed the ninja a seven-headed dragon painting on a building. Zane informed them that he had no data about a seven-headed dragon, only for Roby to quickly say that it wasn't a real dragon and that it was interpretive art representing the Seven Source Dragons of myth.
Roby then explained that how the fairy tale went, all Elemental Powers came from the Source Dragons. Bleck quickly interrupted, claiming it was not a fairy tale. Roby ignored him and continued, saying the games were created forever ago to celebrate the gifts of the Source Dragons so Elemental Masters were called to compete. Roby then finished by telling them that it was pretty much a celebration for their awesomeness.
When Cole asked what the winner got, Roby quickly replied that rules had to be discussed first. He then explained that when someone lost a match, they give their power to the Elemental Cup. With that cup, Roby would be able to transfer the loser's power to the winner, who would then have both powers. This would go on in the game as each competitor that won would gain more and more powers to compete with and that the winner would end up with everyone's Elemental Powers.
Bleckt then added that the champion would return the power to their rightful masters in a victory ceremony that commemorated the Source Dragons allowing mortals to wield Elemental Powers. Roby the declared that victory ceremonies were boring and that theirs would be an extreme victory extravaganza.
Nya then mentioned how that seemed super risky, considering the winner could be evil. Sora then said that an evil winner could go rogue and take over the world, or something similar to that. Roby brushed off the obvious stress by explaining that nothing had ever happened like that and that it couldn't. The Elemental Cup was like a safety switch. If anyone tried something stupid, Roby would be able to pull the powers back into the cup.
Soon, the ninja were greeted by Zant-Tanz, discovering that he had the elemental power of Plants. After Zant-Tanz demonstrated his ability, he told them that he would bring his sweet Mucoid Berries to the banquet. When Sora questioned about it, Roby informed them that they were invited.
The ninja later entered the banquet hall and were greeted by Roby. Soon after Roby gave the ninja a few menus, Sora was startled by Jordana begging for help. But the second it happened, it all passed in a flash and Jordana froze and acted as if nothing happened, confusing Sora.
Then, Nokt and Cinder appear at Jordana's side, Nokt openly wondering where she had ran off to. As Cinder advanced toward Sora, saying, "Look who we have here," Wyldfyre jumped beside Sora growling. When Cinder mocked Wyldfyre and asked about the other red ninja, Wyldfyre summoned her Heat power, ready to blast Cinder with it.
Roby quickly intervened, announcing that fighting was prohibited and that anyone would be eliminated from the games for starting one.
When Arin asked Sora what was wrong, she replied saying she wasn't sure and that something strange had just happened.
Inside the Maze[]
Sora was walking back to the ninja quarters when Nya ran to Lloyd about seeing Jay at the Tournament.
The following day, Sora and Arin engaged in a conversation regarding Zant-Tanz and the attacker bots. Arin proposed that Ras might be the mastermind behind the attack. However, Sora pointed out that Ras was also ambushed. Sora encouraged Arin to reach out to the other ninja for assistance, but Arin wanted to handle the situation independently, feeling the need to redeem himself since he was unable to participate in the tournament. As Arin left, Sora reflected to herself that Arin wasn't the only one grappling with a mystery, especially considering Jordana's unusual behavior.
Sora spied on Jordana to discover Frak was with them.
Sora made her way to Foundation Street, keeping a close watch on Jordana. When she finally approached her, Sora demanded to know why Jordana had sought her assistance at the banquet. Jordana denied ever making such a request, but Sora was adamant that she had. In response, Jordana accused Sora of manipulating her thoughts and issued a warning before walking away. As Sora observed, she noticed Jordana engaging in conversation with Nokt, and soon after, the two of them joined Frak. This revelation shocked Sora, as she discovered that Frak was affiliated with the Wolf Clan. Upon returning to their quarters, Sora cautioned Arin about Frak's alliance with Ras. Arin brushed off her concerns, convinced that Sora was merely misinterpreting what she had witnessed. Sora firmly maintained her stance, asserting that she would never lie to Arin. Just then, Lloyd entered the room, suggesting that they all head to the Games Plaza, as the first game of the tournament was about to begin.
Although they won Sora realized they all felt empty due to loosing Jay.
At the Games Plaza, Sora joined the other ninja as Lloyd reminded everyone about the villain orchestrating a plan to seize the Source Dragons and the Elemental Powers. When Roby introduced Zane and Zur as the first two Elemental Masters set to compete, Sora cheered for Zane, encouraging him to give it his all. Unfortunately, Zane was defeated by Zur, leading to the transfer of his powers to his opponent. Sora observed with concern as Zane's Ice abilities dissipated more quickly than anticipated during the match. Moments later, Sora and the other ninja were left in disbelief upon seeing Jay with the Wolf Clan. After Nya triumphed in her match, Sora celebrated the victory with Arin and Wyldfyre. However, as Jay faced rejection from Ras, Sora began to question the somber mood among the ninja, despite the importance of winning the tournament, prompting Lloyd to reveal that they had lost Jay to the side of evil.
United We Fall[]
Sora stood firm against Ras, flanked by the other ninja, demanding Jay's return. In response, Ras justified his actions, claiming he had been the only one to help Jay after his loss in the tournament. He elaborated that he had sent Jay away as punishment, suggesting that if the ninja truly valued their friend, they should actively seek him out. However, because of the risks posed by the Tournament of the Sources to the Source Dragons, they couldn't. As they headed back, Sora noticed Arin's troubled expression and learned that Jay had mentioned working in the Administration. This revelation struck Sora as significant, as it dawned on her that Jay was Agent Walker. Sora believed that once the games end, they can look for Jay and potentially rescue Arin's parents. However, Arin recalled how Lloyd promise to find his parents before is similar to how Lloyd promising Nya they will find Jay but obstacles always seemed to arise whenever.
Truth and Lies[]
In an effort to evade the toxic goo, Sora separated the Ninja Team Combo Vehicle into four units, assuming control of her glider. However, the ninja were unable to track the Pace Dragon. Sora encouraged Cole to maintain his optimism. Gaining a more advantageous perspective, Sora successfully located the Pace Dragon and urged the ninja to increase their speed. However, their progress was abruptly halted by a cave-in within the tunnel. Inspired by Nya's sarcastic suggestion to charge directly into the obstruction, Sora merged the four vehicles. The Ninja Team Combo Vehicle forcefully breached the wall, allowing Sora and the other ninja to surpass the Pace Dragon, securing victory in the race and thereby earning immunity to remain in the City of Temples.
At the Games Plaza, Sora saw the competition between Euphrasia and Zeatrix, with Zeatrix emerging victorious in the match. In the subsequent round, Tox faced off against Nokt, who launched a vicious assault on Tox using Shatterspin. As Tox was being carried away on a stretcher, Sora and the other ninja rushed to provide assistance. Amidst the chaos, Sora inadvertently caught wind of Nokt referring to Jordana as "sister," a revelation that piqued her curiosity.
As the contest between Cole and Frak was on the verge of commencing, Sora noticed Arin's arrival. She attempted to greet him, but he dismissively ignored her, leaving her perplexed. While the match between Frak and Cole unfolded, Sora reminded Arin of her previous assertions regarding Frak's affiliation with the Wolf Clan, emphasizing her honesty towards him. Arin challenged her claim, questioning her certainty about the truth of her statements. This left Sora bewildered until Arin disclosed that he had been informed by someone about how Sora had deceived him into believing he had successfully performed Object Spinjitzu during the Ritual of the Blood Moon. Sora then admitted her wrongdoing and expressed her regret. She insisted that Arin was the only hope for the ninja during the ritual and that she genuinely wanted him to succeed, particularly after his demotion by Egalt during training. Sensing Sora's potential doubts regarding his capabilities, Arin left in frustration, despite her attempts to provide clarification.
After some time, Sora engaged in training with Lloyd and Nya in preparation for the upcoming game. Preoccupied by the conflict with Arin, Sora inadvertently used Balance. Lloyd advised Sora that her distractions would hinder her ability to master Spinjitzu.
Sora defeated Cinder, gaining his powers.
Sora watched the match between Nya and Nokt, where the objective was to collect the majority of three gems. Nokt emerged victorious, leaving Sora and Lloyd as the remaining competitors for the ninja. Lloyd attempted to motivate them, but Sora is disheartened to see Arin leave in frustration. Just then, Roby announced that Sora and Cinder would compete next, explaining that their challenge is a puzzle game. As the game commenced, Sora used Technology to create a weapon, which she used to electrocute Cinder, incapacitating him. She then pulled levers to lower a metal pillar, forming a bridge. When Cinder recovered, Sora transformed her weapon into a cage, recalling Cinder's history of being trapped in technological cages. Sora tackled the second puzzle, revealing a numerical code, and successfully inputed 11111 into a lock, which lowered a rope for her to swing to the final platform. After placing the metal orb in the center, Roby declared her the winner. He then transferred Cinder's Smoke and Heat powers to Sora, who rejoined the other ninja.
The Sword Shatters[]
Sora woke up early alongside Lloyd, Cole, Zane, and Wyldfyre to begin their training session. Upon returning, they noticed that Arin had put up a board detailing his detective work concerning a suspect. Arin shared that he and Riyu had been caught while sneaking into Ras' dorm, but Ras had surprisingly let them go. Zane pointed out that their ongoing rivalry with Ras had caused them to ignore other potential threats. Cole expressed his shock at discovering that Zur was a suspect in the matter. Sora explained that the Crowns of Horns could be consumed to gain strength for battles, but this came with the downside of inducing rage. She mentioned a rumor circulating in the Crossroads about the Devonians engaging in this practice, but Lloyd countered that rumors alone do not constitute evidence. Sora then suggested that Zeatrix could also be a suspect, as she harbored intentions of retaliating against the ninja for dethroning Beatrix, despite they had technically helped Zeatrix. Arin then revealed a symbol he had discovered the day before, prompting Cole to recommend that he visit the Temple City Museum, which Arin decided to do right away. Although Sora offered to assist him, Arin rejected the offer. Sora then turned to Lloyd to discuss Arin, but Lloyd suddenly experienced another vision, leaving Sora surprised, especially since Rontu had taught Lloyd how to control such occurrences.
Clues and Suspects[]
The Final Game[]
While training with Lloyd and Zane in the Games Plaza, Sora tried to use Cinder's Smoke but failed to go twice as far, leading her to wonder how Cinder managed to harness it so easily. She felt frustrated about her inability to wield the other Elemental Powers like her competitors. Lloyd pointed out that Sora's main issue was her attempt to emulate the other Elemental Masters instead of embracing her unique abilities. Sora acknowledged this but was eager to know what she could do differently. Lloyd encouraged her to be true to herself, but Sora felt that her current self was not good enough, especially since Arin disliked her, her Spinjitzu skills were inconsistent, and she was facing the prospect of losing to Nokt in the upcoming final match. Lloyd reassured her, suggesting that she should stop trying to replicate how others used their powers and instead focus on how only she could use them. Sora, feeling uncertain, asked for guidance on how to achieve that. Spotting the Wolf Clan nearby, she excused herself to talk to Jordana. When Sora mentioned the note, Jordana claimed not to know what she was talking about. Sora felt a pang of regret for not remembering Jordana better and suggested that they might have been friends during their challenging school days. However, Jordana dismissed her with a harsh remark, calling her pathetic before walking away, leaving Sora feeling disheartened.
Later at night, the final battle between Sora and Nokt commenced. The battle kicked off with Sora making the first move, attempting to perform Spinjitzu for the first time. She managed the rudimentary version of the technique, much like Arin had before her, but Nokt quickly knocked her to the ground. Nokt boasted that Sora had never encountered an opponent like him before, to which Sora retorted by drawing comparisons to her parents and other oppressive Imperians from the City of Imperium, asserting that she had faced worse. Nokt then performed Shatterspin, but Sora dodged the attack and quickly created an Ice wall for defense. She then used Frak's Quake power on ice spikes she raised from the ground to the air, followed by applying Zur's Reflex power into punching them in a rapid motion. When Nokt uses Shatterspin to attack, the barrier collapse onto him and sends him flying into a screen. The two combatants exchanged fierce blows using their Elemental Powers, with Sora using Smoke, Heat, and Reflex to counteract Nokt's attacks. As the battle went on, Nokt used Shockwave to make Sora go into smoke form and managed to knock her down with Shatterspin. Lloyd, watching from the sidelines, urged Sora to outsmart Nokt if she couldn't overpower him. In a moment of insight, Sora spotted a device on the back of Nokt's head, though she was unsure of its function. Utilizing Technology, she transformed the device into a techno-bee, which stung Nokt and delivered an electric shock. Just as Sora prepared to finish Nokt with her Heat attack, the arena unexpectedly shifted, leaving her disoriented. Sora hopped onto a hover pad, and she attempted another Heat attack, but Nokt countered with Shatterspin, knocking her off her pad and securing his victory in the final match.
Sora and Lloyd proceeded to the victory ceremony, where Sora was to relinquish her powers. Lloyd commended Sora, asserting that she surpassed all other Elemental Masters. Nevertheless, Sora felt troubled by the fact that Ras would acquire all the Elemental Powers for his scheme. Roby absorbed Sora's powers with the intention of transferring them to Nokt, thereby claiming the title of Champion of the Sources. At that moment, Wyldfyre and Zur arrived, revealing Bleckt's collusion with Ras. Wyldfyre detailed Ras' entire plot, including the involvement of Bleckt in orchestrating the attacker bots and rigging the matches, including the one between Sora and Nokt. Disgusted by Bleckt's betrayal, Roby announced the cancellation of the victory celebration. However, Nokt attacked Roby with Shatterspin, claiming all the powers from the Elemental Cup and betrayed Ras. When Jordana arrived, Sora learned that Rox, another member of the Forbidden Five, had possessed Jordana since the Blood Moon Ritual, explaining her odd behavior. Both Rox and Nokt admitted to being responsible for the deaths of the three Arc Dragons. When Sora questioned about their motives for killing innocent dragons, Nokt revealed their intent to steal the Crowns of Horns to aid in freeing the rest of the Forbidden Five. Enraged, Ras summoned Cinder and the wolf warriors to confront Nokt and Cinder, but Rox corrupted the Wolf Clan, unleashing their true power. Sora and Lloyd prepared for battle as the Wolf Clan launched their attack.
Elements of Betrayal[]
Sora fought the Wolf Mask Warriors, using a fragment of a railing as an improvised weapon during the skirmish. Sora expressed to Lloyd her dissatisfaction with the limitations imposed by her partial acquisition of the Elemental Powers from the tournament. Lloyd, in turn, relayed information he had received from Arin regarding the location of the Crowns of Horns, which were said to be situated at the Monastery of Gates. He also conveyed his astonishment at Ras' innocence concerning the assassinations of the Arc Dragons. Sora advised Lloyd not to be overly critical of himself, as it was unlikely anyone would suspect Jordana of being possessed by a member of the Forbidden Five. Despite Lloyd's urgency to confront Nokt at the Monastery, Sora reminded him that both Nokt and Rox had already made their way there. As Ras and Roby set off towards the Monastery with the intention of halting Nokt, Lloyd reiterated the necessity of their own journey to the Monastery; however, Sora insisted that their presence was required at the Games Plaza. Frak encouraged Sora and the other ninja to proceed ahead while the Elemental Masters fight the Wolf Clan. Consequently, Sora, Lloyd, and Wyldfyre used the Ninja Team Combo Vehicle to meet up with the remaining ninja at the rock bridge.
Sora and the other ninja reached the Monastery of Gates, where the remaining members of the Forbidden Five had successfully escaped from the Nether-Space. Engaging in battle alongside the other ninja and Ras, Sora used her glider to confront Nokt. During the skirmish, Nokt launched a fierce attack on the ninja, resulting in Sora being dislodged from her glider. Amidst the chaos, both Sora and Lloyd witnessed Arin valiantly defending Ras against Nokt, a sight that left them both bewildered. Meanwhile, Nya tapped into Riyu's dragon power and used them on the Crowns of Horns, which enabled her to liberate Kai and Bonzle from the Nether-Space. A battle erupted between Kai and Nokt, with the latter initially gaining the upper hand and preparing to eliminate Kai. However, Roby intervened by used the Elemental Cup to reclaim the powers that Nokt had usurped, thereby restoring them to their rightful bearers, including Sora. The ninja managed to corner Nokt, but he ultimately escaped through a portal gate along with the remaining members of the Forbidden Five, taking Ras with him. Despite Sora and Lloyd's objections, Arin chose to pursue the Forbidden Five in an attempt to rescue Ras. As Sora and Lloyd approached the portal gate, the Forbidden Five destroyed it, leaving Sora devastated as she called out for Arin, coming to terms with the fact that Arin had opted to abandon the ninja.
Sora was the winner by default.
In the aftermath, Sora has been designated as the Champion of the Sources by default, earning recognition as the greatest Elemental Master within the Merged Realms. Subsequently, at Foundation Street, Sora thanked Euphrasia and Tox for their invaluable assistance. Shortly thereafter, she sought out Lloyd to asked about the whereabouts of Jordana, to which Lloyd replied that Jordana had disappeared following her aid to the ninja. Sora emphasized that their success would not have been possible without Jordana's contributions. Lloyd reminisced about a time when Sora had claimed she possessed no Elemental Powers, to which Sora humorously remarked that it felt like an eternity ago. She conveyed her appreciation to Lloyd, acknowledging that her triumph was largely due to his encouragement, alongside the inspiration she drew from both him and Arin. Sora then shared her concerns regarding the rift that had developed between her and Arin, prompting Lloyd to reassure her that they would find Arin. However, Sora expressed her belief that Arin might not wish to be found. As the ninja prepared to return to Ninjago, Sora and Lloyd stumbled upon Wyldfyre and Roby sharing a tender moment, leading Sora to pull Lloyd away when he interrupted. Upon their return to the Monastery of Spinjitzu via a portal gate, Sora and Wyldfyre met up with Riyu, and the trio left together.

Relationships
These are the relationships of Ninja rookie and Elemental Master of Technology, Sora.
Family
Family[]
Her parents (disowned)[]
- “We've missed you, Ana. Don't abandon us again.”
- “I didn't abandon you. You abandoned me, I thought I had to prove myself to you. But you should never have to prove your worth to your own parents!”
- “You're young and naive, Ana! Just come back to your family!”
- “I have a new family now! One that loves me for who I really am!”
| — Sora disowning her mother and father, "The Power Within"
|
Sora's parents saddened after the latter disowned them.
Sora's neglectful parents are highly disapproving of her. While going by her original name, Ana, they neglected her and never understood her talents in inventing devices. Their relationship was briefly on better terms when she won her school's science fair with her Photac and was hired by Dr. LaRow. However, when Sora instantly bonded with Zanth, a dragon who was powering the Kingdom of Imperium against her will, they returned to neglecting her, as well as abusing her, to the point they confiscated her inventions.
When the Merge occurred and Sora ran away, they were heartbroken, believing she abandoned them.
Over the years, Sora believed that she would never be able to reconcile with her parents, which was proven true when they were the only ones who still supported Beatrix, believing the disgraced tyrant's lies that everything was made up.
Annoyed and angered at their idiocy and insolence, Sora rightfully disowns them and proclaimed the Ninja are her true family before achieving her True Potential, right in front of them.
After the MergeQuake Storm, they both solemnly look at a photo of happier times between them and their daughter, showing that they cared for her to some degree and were immensely saddened that their relationship with her ended, though it is unknown if they acknowledged that it was their fault.

Lloyd[]
- “I can't Quake like Frak or use Elemental Reflex like Zur. I have their Powers, why can't I be like any of them?”
- “I think that's the problem, Sora. You're trying to be like them”
- “Uh, yeah! What else can I do?”
- “You can be you.”
- “Being me isn't great right now. My best friend hates me, my Spinjitzu still won't spinjitz, and an evil loser from ancient times is about to trash me in front of a live audience.”
- “Sora, I've seen you do things no one else could ever do. Stop trying to use Elemental Powers the way everyone else did. Think of how only Sora would use them.”
| — Sora and Lloyd, "The Final Game"
|
Lloyd is Sora's master. Upon discovering her Technology powers, Lloyd tried to get Sora to realize they truly are hers, when she believed Riyu is just giving them to her. It wasn't until she achieved her True Potential to save him and Arin from Beatrix that she knew that her disowning parents and doubts were holding her back.
She expressed worry for Lloyd when his visions were troubling him and received tips and training from Lloyd during the Tournament of the Sources. Both showed surprise and sadness after Arin decided to go with Ras. After her victory ceremony, Sora thanked Lloyd for his previous instructions and Sora tried to comfort Sora over losing Arin. When Lloyd rudely interrupted a moment between Wyldfyre and Roby, Sora dragged him away by the collar of his kimono.
Later, when she decided to leave the Ninja and accompany Arin when he departed with Ras to continue their efforts to reverse the Merge, Sora made a point to apologize to Lloyd before she left.
Rontu (formerly)[]
Friends
Friends[]
Arin[]
- “Stronger together, right?”
- “Together forever.”
| — Sora and Arin, "Crashing Together" |
Arin had been Sora's best friend since after running away from Imperium when the Merge occurred, when they became mech racers together. Their dynamic together was very close and supportive, as they seemed to be affectionate, supporting and cared for and loved each other very much and considered each other as family, they were seen to be very, very close. They were fond of each other. After rescuing Riyu from the Claws of Imperium and meeting up with Lloyd, they both became his students, though Sora felt she was incapable of being a ninja as she lacked focus and believed her newly discovered powers are Riyu's, although Arin tried to reassure her through out these moments. She deeply cares for him, and loves him.
They were seen to become closer in Season 2 but, after the latter find out Sora lied to him about his Object Spinjitzu ending the Ritual of the Blood Moon, he became cold and distant to her, constantly avoiding and ignoring her in situations where he clearly needed some help solving a mystery, making Sora feel upset, frustrated and hurt. When Arin chased an injured Ras getting taken away by Nokt to find out what happened to his Parents, Sora panicky yelled at Arin to come back. When he disappeared with Ras and the Forbidden Five, she anxiously screamed out the name of her friend, showing she still cared about him and was afraid she'd lost him, despite the fact he kept pushing her away. Sora was seen to be heartbroken when Arin abandoned the Ninja, she already started to miss him very much, but concluding the fact that he didn't want to be found.
When they met again in "Crashing Together", both apologized to each other, and Arin informed Sora of the supposed death of his parents which led the latter to comfort and hug him.
When Arin return with Ras after Thunderfang' s defeat, Sora decide to go with them, no wanting to abandon her friend again and wanting to watch over him.
Riyu[]
Sora with Riyu as a baby
Riyu is a good/close friend of Sora. When she first met him as a baby, Sora attempted to show compassion towards him by helping him escape the Claws of Imperium, along with Arin, until Riyu ended up giving some his dragon energy to her, which awoke her dormant Technology powers. For a certain period she could not use her power without the drainage of Riyu who willingly offered her energy. After achieving her True Potential, Sora told Riyu about needing to do it on her own. They are seen to be very close and to get along very and care so much for each other. She cares very much for Riyu as a part of her family and will always be there for him.
Sora training alongside a teen Riyu
When Riyu grew to a teen, Sora enjoyed riding on his back and was amazed to see him fly while attempting to stop the Ritual of the Blood Moon. They trained together under Rontu's tutelage to learn Spinjitzu and supported each other.
When Arin and Sora left with Ras, Riyu showed signs of sadness to see his two best friends leave and especially with someone like Ras.
When Sora returned to the monastery weeks later, Riyu jumped on her to express his joy at seeing her again, while still expressing his resentment at her for having left.
Kai[]
- “But when Lloyd gets back, he's not going to be-”
- “And we're off!”
| — Sora and Kai, "What the Mech?"
|
Kai is Sora's fellow ninja. Through their brief first time meeting each other, Kai assumed Lloyd was just babysitting her, until they managed to truly interact, and was astounded about her Technology powers that are souped up by a baby dragon named Riyu. Though they didn't get to speak to one another much at first, they soon went on a few adventures together; as shown in The Elemental Mechs when they fought a corrupted Lobbo, the Mechanic , Ice Dragons and Lava-Tides. They even showed great teamwork by combining different parts of their mech alongside Cole.
In "Elements of Betrayal", Sora was happy when Kai was released from Nether-Space.
In "For Whom the Bell Tolls," Kai was very surprised to see Sora upon his return from Imperium and hugged her.
Zane[]
Zane is Sora's fellow ninja. Although they did not interact much, Sora and Zane soon got to know each other and started to get along very well.
Cole[]
Cole is Sora's fellow ninja. Their introduction was hostile when Cole attacked her, Nya, and Riyu as a golem, believing they were going to harm Fritz and Spitz until he stood down when he saw Nya's Spinjitzu and made a proper introduction. They were seen to become good friends later on in the show. In The Elemental Mechs, they went on a few adventures and faced a corrupted Lobbo, the Mechanic, Ice Dragons and Lava-Tides and combined different parts of their mechs alongside Kai. The duo happily shared a bowl of mixed noodles at the end of "A Pain in the Mech!".
Nya[]
Nya is Sora's fellow ninja. Their introduction was hostile when Nya attacked Sora for aiding the Earth Dragons, until they were able to settle their differences and worked together to fight them, despite failing. The two girls quickly became close friends, Nya probably being happy to have another ninja girl by her side in the team. When the team split to search for the Dragon Cores, Sora did not hesitate to accept Nya's insistence on going to search for the Yellow Core.
Like most classic ninja, Nya played a mentoring role for Sora. One example is in "Land of Lost Things," where she encourages Sora to believe in her elemental powers, reminding her not to doubt herself.
They also showed girlpower support in their relationship, for example when Sora as well as Wyldfyre, hugged Nya in "The Vault of Focus" after she was disappointed in Jay's behavior, while she hoped that there was still goodness in him.
Wyldfyre[]
- “Not funny, Wyldfyre.”
- “Not joking, Sora.”
| — Wyldfyre and Sora, "Force From the East"
|
Sora helping an injured Wyldfyre
Wyldfyre is Sora's teammate. Despite the rocky start, the two began to work together with Sora helping carry Wyldfyre after the latter was injured by Cinder. In "Rising Ninja", Wyldfyre quickly figured out that Sora help Arin throw the Elemental Fire Mech's hand. Both Wyldfyre and Sora agreed to keep it a secret, not wanting to burden Arin with the knowledge of Sora's intervention. In "Clues and Suspects", Wyldfyre showed a confused face when Arin rejected Sora's help. Upon seeing Wyldfyre and Roby doing a love roar together, Sora dragged Lloyd away from them for rudely interrupting them.
Alfonzo Frohicky[]
Sora is shown to have an amicable relationship with Mr. Alfonzo Frohicky.
Geo[]
- “Not even your parents?”
- “I... don't remember my parents.”
- “I wish I didn't remember mine. Even if I managed to save the world with the ninja, I'm sure my parents would still be disappointed in me.”
- “Sounds like living in Imperium really broke you.”
- “Yeah. And sometimes I feel like I'll never be able to fix it.”
| — Geo and Sora, "Land of Lost Things
|
Geo is the Master of Fusion, whom Sora met in the Land of Lost Things. They share their mutual past and bonded over being treated as outcasts, Geo being a Munce with Geckle features and Sora opposing dragon power.
Frak[]
- “You outplayed me. Congratulations.”
- “You were a worthy opponent.”
| — Frak and Sora, "Clues and Suspects"
|
Sora and Frak
Frak is Arin's childhood best friend and her teammate. Sora met him in the Tournament of Sources. When she learnt Frak was being apprenticed by Ras, Sora was in complete surprise. When it came down to the semi-finals, she and Frak fought against each other before seeing Frak reject his mask to fight fairly, earning her respect in the process. When the empowered Wolf Clan launched an attack, Sora worried about Frak and the other depowered Elemental Masters, but trusted his words and went after Nokt and Rox alongside Lloyd and Wyldfyre.
After the events at the Tournament of Sources, Sora and Frak became fellow students under Lloyd and the other Ninja. However, their relationship was showed to be awkward at best. One of the reasons for that was due to the fact they both were Arin's best friend at different parts of the latter's life, with her having a hard time to find the best way to address him, only doing it when she was at great need of help in continuing Arin's pie business (as Frak was the one to teach Arin how to bake).
But the biggest issue in their relationship was the fact Frak was previously Ras' student, causing her to have a hard time developing some level of trust on Frak. This was showed during their search for Arin, where Sora's lack of trust on Frak and the latter's need to prove himself worthy would crash and caused them to have a harder time to bond. Eventually, after Sora started to give Frak a new chance and he stopped trying to much, the two actually became friends.
When Sora came back to the monastery with Wyldfyre, Frak was happy to see her okay and he said that he was worried about her, couldn't even sleep. In "Chaos Reigns" Frak wanted to express his feelings towards Sora but decided to make a quick excuse that he ate yogurt in monastery fridge. It's clear that Sora is not aware of Frak's crush, even though there were hints of it.
Zanth[]
Young Sora and Zanth
Zanth is the first dragon Sora encountered in Imperium, She found bond with Zanth, so strong even naming herself after her former name Sora, After seeing what Dr. LaRow does to her and learns the truth about Imperium she abandons her hometown, but years later comes back to rescue her, they become closer friends ever since.
Arrakore[]
Jay[]
Jay was a fellow ninja, who Sora never meet but heard of him through Arin and then the other ninja. They did not interact until Season 3, in which the ninja find Jay who had his goodness shattered in addition to his amnesia. Sora was shown to be annoyed with Jay's rude behavior and was unconcern of Jay, when Wyldfyre turned the ship, and caused Jay to almost fall off but ended up hitting his head. She notably reminded him with annoyance the Security Bots' immunity to Elemental Powers, after Jay attacked them with his Lightning when they went to see Bleckt. Another issue their brief alliance was the fact Jay was previously Ras' student during the Tournament of Sources and that Jay had almost killed Arin while they were in the World Forest.
In "The Vault of Focus", Sora showed annoyance to Jay's rude behavior commenting of romantic relationships and attacking the Security Bots (Sora appeared to forgotten Roby only gave the Ninja a personal tour and Jay was absent at the time).
Enemies
Enemies[]
Beatrix[]
Sora had a mass hatred for Beatrix, due to her dictatorial regime and her cruelty against dragons in order to empower Imperium.
Dr. LaRow (former idol)[]
- “Hmm. You've grown feisty. Where's that sweet, wide-eyed little girl who was excited just to be in a real science lab?”
- “She grew up. On the streets of a strange city. When she had to escape a family poisoned against her by her former hero.”
| — Dr. LaRow and Sora, "Mindless Beasts" |
Sora and Dr. LaRow
Dr. LaRow used to be Sora's idol while she lived in Imperium. When she was offered a job after winning her school's science fair, she refused upon discovering she was using Zanth to keep the city powered, which led to Sora being shunned.
Over the years. Sora held massive grudge against Dr. LaRow, viewing her responsible for ruining her life. When meeting her for the first time in years, Sora is very hostile towards her former idol and even openly insults her, which surprises Dr. LaRow that Sora grew very feisty and when the scientist wonders what happened to the sweet, naive girl that used to be Ana, Sora answers that she grew up in the streets after being betrayed by her former idol. Dr. LaRow tells her that some heroes may disappoint. When Dr. LaRow asks Sora to create more of the Photac beasts, Sora refused, however, she relented after Dr. LaRow threatened to drain Zanth of her energy. But after activating multiple Photacs, Sora betrayed Dr. LaRow and helped the other ninja to defeat the Claws of Imperium and save dragons.
After the Battle of the Second Monastery, upon hearing from Rapton about the Dragon Cores, Beatrix ordered Dr. LaRow alongside Rapton and Dorama to find three Dragon Cores for MergeQuake weapon. Which led Dr. LaRow to the Land of Lost Things. After Zanth was captured, upon hearing from Bonzle about Dr. LaRow, Sora tried to face her before Dr. LaRow calls her broken experiment. She then demonstrates how the drones when combined can make a barrier of energy before eventually holding Sora down while a single drone heads for the core. Sora alongside Nya, Riyu, Cole and Finders tried to stop her from getting the core but failed. Despite Sora's failure, the ninja successfully managed to defeat Beatrix and liberate the Kingdom of Imperium from her tyrannical rule.
Ras (former ally)[]
- “Give up, and we will spare your lives. The alternative is, I will crush the life out of both of you. Either way, that dragon will belong to me.”
- “Never!”
| — Ras and Sora, "The Battle of the Second Monastery" |
Arin and Sora preparing to fight Lord Ras
Sora has a massive amount of dislike for Ras due to his goal of capturing and draining dragons and trying to free the Forbidden Five from the Nether-Space.
Jordana (rival; formerly)[]
Jordana was Sora's classmate, whose grudge against the latter started when she became popular upon showing her Photac device. After Sora refused to work for Dr. LaRow, Jordana took it. However, when they saw each other, Sora doesn't remember her, enraging Jordana even more. However, during their next encounter at the Cloud Kingdom, she then recognizes her as the girl from her class in Imperium. In the episode The Final Game, Sora apologizes to Jordana for ignoring her all these years, and admitting could have become good friends. It is unknown if Jordana heard these words while still being possessed by Rox.
The Mechanic[]
Sora had her first encounter with the Mechanic when she witnessed him sabotaging the Mech Master 5000 at the Crossroads. At first, Sora mistakenly assumed that he was a genuine mechanic. However, her perception quickly changed when she caught sight of him stealing the mechs. Determined to put a stop to his nefarious activities, Sora swiftly activated her own mech. Unfortunately, The Mechanic took her down by using his commandeered mechs to ram into the Elemental Mechs, causing them to be dismantled. As chaos ensued and the remaining mechs engaged in a fierce battle with the ninja, the Mechanic managed to escape. Being the fastest racer out of the ninja, Sora relentlessly pursued the Mechanic, fueled by her determination to bring him to justice. Mocking her technological prowess, the Mechanic arrogantly taunted Sora before forcefully knocking her off the bridge. However, Sora's resourcefulness came to her aid as she used the legs from the Elemental Fire Mech as boosters, enabling her to regain her footing on the bridge. She struck the Mechanic's mech with such force that it split in half. Emerging victorious, Sora confidently declared that she was unimpressed with the Mechanic's skills.
Cinder[]
Cinder is one of Sora's enemies. Since the episode The Blood Moon, she, Arin and Riyu had fight with him and two members of the wolf mask clan. In the episode Rising Ninja, Cinder and Sora have a one on one battle, she traps Cinder but was able to overcome her and knock her out unconscious, even had a battle in the Tournament of the Sources.
Nokt[]
- “I have no idea how you even made it this far, girl. But I promise you, you've never faced anyone like me.”
- “I faced parents like you. I faced a whole realm like you.”
- “Is your sob story over yet?”
| — Nokt and Sora, "The Final Game" |
Sora and Nokt fighting
Sora views Nokt as an enemy, but their main interaction was when they were pitted against each other in the Tournament of the Sources. Sora had a hard time against Nokt, but was smart enough to use the shocker chip on his head to fight him. Sora told Nokt about her struggles, with Nokt responding with little to no interest.
