Ninjago Skybound is an web and app game released in 2016. In the game, the only playable character is Jay, the Blue Ninja. His mission is to stop Nadakhan and his Sky Pirates to rescue Cole, Nya, Lloyd, Zane, Kai, and Wu from the Djinn Blades.

- The beginning instrumental section of "Enter the Tournament" is played in a loop in the in-between sections of the game (opening moments, menu screen, etc.).
- Some of the achievements are references to other franchises:
- "Monkey See, Monkey Do" is a phrase meaning that someone copies another's actions, unaware of the consequences.
- "Dogshank Smash" is a reference to the Hulk's catchphrase, "Hulk smash."
- "Can't Touch This" references the song "U Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer.
- "I Heard You Like Achievements" references the meme "I herd u liek Mudkipz".
- Additionally, the description for this achievement, "all achievements are belong to you!" references the phrase "All your bases are belong to us" from Zero Wing.
- It is one of two games where the player is limited to one ninja; the other is Ride Ninja.
