During his time at the apartment, Garmadon mainly lazed about, littering all over the place with pizza boxes and soda cans, as well as looking after a plant that Vinny gave him as a gift, but had also been keeping him up at night.

After explaining how he knew the Overlord would return, Garmadon revealed he had taken up his vow of non-violence again, resulting in Lloyd storming out of the apartment, along with Wu before the apartment is struck, leaving it completely damaged, enraging Garmadon, who was holding his damaged plant, assumes Oni form and attacks the crystal army.
